Façade

From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Façade of the Strasbourg Cathedral

A façade (English pronunciation: /fəˈsɑːd/) is usually one side of the outside of a building. It is very often the front, but also sometimes the sides and rear. The word comes from French word façade (pronounced [fasad]), literally meaning "frontage" or "face".
