Kyōtoku
Appearance
Kyōtoku (享徳) was a Japanese era name (後花園天皇) after Hōtoku and before Kosho. This period started in July 1452 and ended in July 1455.[1] During this time, the emperor was Go-Hanazono-Tennō (後花園天皇).[2]
Events of the Kyōtoku era
[change | change source]- 1454 (Kyōtoku 3): Ashikaga Shigeuji caused the killing of Uesugi Noritada;[3] and this event is known as the Kyōtoku no Ran.[4]
