Marko Feingold

Marko M. Feingold (28 May 1913 – 19 September 2019) was an Austrian Holocaust survivor and centenarian. He was the president of the Jewish community in Salzburg. He was also in charge of Salzburg's synagogue. At 111 years of age, he was the oldest living Austrian Holocaust survivor. He was imprisoned at the concentration camps Auschwitz, Neuengamme, Dachau and Buchenwald during the Holocaust.[1]

Feingold was born in Besztercebánya/Neusohl, Austria-Hungary (now Banská Bystrica, Slovakia). He grew up in Leopoldstadt, Vienna.
