Hello, welcome to my talk page!

If you want to leave a message then please do it at the bottom as a new section. You can do that by simply clicking the plus sign (+) or "new section" on the top of this page. And don't forget to sign your messages with four tildes, like this: ~~~~

Attention: I will normally keep topics in one place. If you leave a comment for me here then I will most likely reply to it on this same page—my talk page— to keep all of the conversation in one place. Also if I leave a comment on your talk page, please reply to it there. Remember, we can use our watchlist to keep track of when reply are made. Finally you can send an alert to me on this page about a comment you have left somewhere else.

Thank you!

Copying articles from English Wikipedia

[change source]

Hello, CosmLearner, and welcome to Simple English Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions here.

I noticed that one of the article you created, 2014 Bangladesh anti-Hindu violence, has some reference errors. One of them says, " Cite error: The named reference ReferenceA3 was used but no text was provided for refs named (see the help page).' This means that the article you copied from used named references, and you didn't include here the part of the article where the reference was defined.

When you base an article here on one from English Wikipedia ("enwiki"), please preview it to make sure that it doesn't have any errors such as this. The way to fix this one is to find where the article is defined in the enwiki article, then copy that into one of the places that refers to the reference in the article here. Please take care of that in this article. Thanks.

One other note: when you base an article here on an article from another Wikipedia, it is required to give attribution. You can read about that at WP:Transwiki attribution. Please add attribution to any article you create that are based on English Wikipedia or any other Wikipedia. Thanks.

Also, if you're interested in knowing about some things that are different at this Wikipedia, you can look at this list I maintain of things that are different here. The list itself is not a policy or guideline, but it links to some relevant policies and guidelines. If you have any questions about it, feel free to ask. -- Auntof6 (talk) 23:00, 19 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for telling in detail. 😬CsmLrner 14:25, 24 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! Just wanted to let you know that Referenced article was leaning towards G2 than G1. G1 is for articles that do not make sense.

Also, please see Wikipedia:Edit war, as you are very close to possibly being blocked because of it. In this case, you can report this article to the Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard and they can delete it. Thanks, Aster🪻 talk edits 21:36, 2 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Talk pages

[change source]

Hello, CosmLearner. I noticed that you created some article talk pages with just the talk page header on them. Please don't do that. There's no need to create a talk page unless there's some discussion on it. Thanks. -- Auntof6 (talk) 11:05, 3 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Okay. CosmLearner (talk) contribs 11:07, 3 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

QD request

[change source]

Sorry but A4 is for people, products, groups etc. it's not a valid reason to delete a page about a tornado. I agree it should be deleted but it'll have to be by RfD. Thanks fr33kman 05:36, 5 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

When you found a copy from enwiki

[change source]

Please tag {{qd|a3}} instead of RFD. The rules can be seen at WP:AQD. Thank you for checking new pages. MathXplore (talk) 13:25, 9 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Okay. But that page didn't contain only the article from English Wikipedia. It also had other writings from the Wikipedia interface, such as 'Donate,' 'Create account,' 'Login,' etc. CosmLearner (talk) contribs 13:29, 9 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Such cases are still QD A3. MathXplore (talk) 13:30, 9 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

QD notice

Hiǃ Just a note that Hamza chahi was an A4 instead of a G2. Thank youǃ Aster🪻 talk edits 12:43, 11 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Asteralee Just a note, the page may still be considered a test page, as there are refs. Cactus🌵 spiky 12:44, 11 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Cactusisme Okay, I'll keep that in mindǃ Aster🪻 talk edits 12:46, 11 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
and also the ip is block evasion, so it can also be listed as G5, but you may not know that. Thanks!! Cactus🌵 spiky 12:46, 11 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It looks like you found a talk page without an article, and moved the talk page to the article name, then requested QD on the article. Is that right? It would be simpler just to request QD on the original talk page using option G8. If you see something like that again, please leave the talk page where it is and just ask for it to be deleted. Thanks. -- Auntof6 (talk) 07:09, 12 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Okay. CosmLearner (talk) contribs 20:50, 12 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Helloǃ Just to let you know on Ryan Reynolds filmography, it was more of an A4 because A1 is for things that do not make sense. In this, it does have real words, but is not notable. Thank youǃ Aster🪻 talk edits 12:10, 15 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Ryan Reynolds is a film producer, and he is notable. CosmLearner (talk) contribs 12:14, 15 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, CosmLearner! Here at Simple English Wikipedia, we use the section heading "Other websites" instead of English Wikipedia's "External links", which you used in "Nickelodeon (India)". This makes it simpler and easier to read. Please remember to use "Other websites" in pages that you create in the future. Thank you for your help! Auntof6 (talk) 09:06, 15 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
