About Belkins.io
[change source]Hello, my name's Wekeepwhatwekill, I'm an editor on this site just as you are. I wanted to reach out to you as I saw you were creating one of your first articles (on Belkins.io on Wikipedia. Your article has one main issue, almost all of your sources fail The guidelines for reliable sources. Rather than tag it, which I never liked either, I thought I'd sent you a personal note and explain exactly what's wrong and how it can be corrected. (It's not too hard, I promise! ). Essentially, you need reliable sources to create an article, right now you have only one. I'll explain:
- Ain.ua is a PR release and is clearly marked as such 'PR' or 'Public Relations' media are considered unreliable as they're written by the people involved in the business and therefore are not neutrally written, which is a requirement. Any reference to ain.ua would need to be replaced with a reliable source.
- Sap.com doesn't mention Vladyslav Podolyako or Michael Maximoff , therefore can't be used to refer to either individual This is a reliable source but it doesn't mention either Vladyslav Podolyako or Michael Maximoff. We wouldn't be able to use this to refer to either individual. It does , however, refer to the company so it can be used to refer to the company!
- MC.today states up front that it's user created information , and that they only accept information from their user created blogs. This wouldn't be considered a reliable source and can't be used. This is user created information, by either Vladyslav Podolyako or Michael Maximoff. Again, it's the same issue as with ain.ua, it's not considered neutral and as such, wouldn't be a reliable source.
- Forbes.ua is reliable so that's ok, and it does reference what you say it does! No problem with this reference at all.
Reliable sources are important in Wikipedia, without them the article can't be accepted, so please take a moment and find reliable sources instead of the ones I just mentioned to you. Wekeepwhatwekill Speak! 12:48, 30 May 2023 (UTC)
