Total 100 students were selected as sample to collect data both from under-graduation as well as post-graduation. Half male and half female students were selected as sample. Study reveals that perception of university students towards the importance of social media is positive. The debunking industry has tried to lessen the enormous spread of false information in modern society due to the growth of social media. Current research investigates debunked fallacious content relating to COVID-19 in India, intending to understand the key themes and trends in fabricated content for health literacy. The study is exploratory and uses supervised machine learning for the purpose of classification. The study uses thematic analysis techniques to look at the 506 claims of false information about COVID-19 that Indian fact-checking platforms have refuted. The results discern specific trends and health literacy within the range. The tendency toward fallacious content starts with anger toward China and creates communal hatred against India's minority group. Political propaganda, then false health information, was the main subject of such content. Moreover, many misrepresented and refuted claims came from the mainstream media.

The total internet subscribers in country are 824.89 million with 797.61 million subscribers of wireless internet and 27.28 million subscribers as per the data from March 2022 (TRAI, 2022). The access to internet has facilitated user generated content across platforms. The study aims to investigate the underlying causes of this backlog, analyze its impact on the criminal justice system and society, and propose effective solutions to mitigate it. The research methodology combines doctrinal and qualitative approaches, focusing on drug pendency cases. The main author's doctoral research focuses on pendency of cases, with other researchers providing suggestions and studies to find solutions on drug abuse cases in this research work. The NCRB data from 2017-2022 was analyzed, and the gap in 2023 was filled using news sources, Punjab Economic Survey reports, and literature, along with legal databases, court records, and case archives. The paper presents evidence-based policy recommendations aimed at reforming legal processes, enhancing judicial efficiency, and mitigating the social fallout of the case backlog. It calls for a holistic approach that combines legal reforms with community-based interventions to address the multifaceted challenges posed by drug abuse cases in Punjab. The study urges collaboration between legal authorities, policymakers, and civil society to address drug abuse cases, emphasizing the importance of timely access to justice, as delays can be a social cost unaffordable for any society.
