Hemihomonym is a term for names with the same spelling from different nomenclature jurisdictions. See wikipedia:Homonym (biology)#Hemihomonyms.
Example with the genus name Oenanthe:
- Oenanthe L. (1753) (Plantae, Apiales, Apiaceae)
- Oenanthe Vieillot, 1816 (Animalia, Aves, Muscicapidae)
These names are hemihomonyms; they are valid under their respective codes of nomenclature (ICNafp for algae, fungi, and plants, and ICZN for animals).
