Our membership program is focused on maintaining the public infrastructure needed to build a more equitable internet anchored in Bitcoin. We work closely with our members to develop industry-leading technical layers and tools, high-quality education and training, career and networking opportunities, and deep R&D in order to cultivate the best support system for developers and founders looking to build on Bitcoin.

The Stacks Foundation is a non-profit steward of the digital asset industry, ensuring that all builders have the resources needed to innovate on Bitcoin and web3. We have a dedicated team that oversees a reliable building environment through Bitcoin layer protocol development as well as a vast network of web3 builders and advocates through our worldwide community growth programs.

While typical organizations may need to focus on clearly profitable efforts, the Stacks Foundation is set up to channel resources to R&D for public goods, blockchain core development, and support of open-source software. In addition, we apply membership funds to key educational and events programming aimed at galvanizing worldwide communities in support of our mission to build a more equitable internet on Bitcoin.
