This paper proposes an algorithm to find the smallest MSE. To capture the four components of the time series data (namely, seasonal variation, trend variation, cyclical variation, and random variation), the exponential smoothing method was used. This method uses three factors for smoothing where the data are the smoothing factor, 0 < α < 1, the trend smoothing factor, 0 < γ < 1, and the seasonal change smoothing factor, 0 < β < 1. First, all possible combination values of smoothing factors will be generated to one decimal digit. After that, the smallest MSE of those combinations will be determined by using an algorithm and observing their convergence pattern.
The lack of comprehension of students' mathematical ideas spurred this study's application of a l... more The lack of comprehension of students' mathematical ideas spurred this study's application of a learning strategy that can enhance that knowledge, namely Matematika GASING (Gampang, Asyik, dan Menyenangkan) learning. This study aims to investigate the description of increasing the ability to understand mathematical concepts of students who learn to use Matematika GASING learning. The method used is the descriptive quantitative research method. The subjects used were five students from different schools: two students from SMP Negeri 2 Pagedangan, two students from SMP Negeri 3 Ambon, and a student from SMP Negeri 8 South Tangerang. These subjects were given the treatment of online Matematika GASING learning. The instrument used in this study was a test for understanding mathematical concepts given through a pretest and post-test. The research data obtained were then calculated and described to conclude. The results of this study indicate that there is no increase in the ability to understand mathematical concepts by learning Matematika GASING online. This is because several activities in the learning process are not implemented as well as students who are not used to learning online.

Because both of them demand students in total to be able to take responsibility for students related to the learning process. This study aims to investigate whether there is a significant effect of self-confidence and learning independence on students' mathematics learning outcomes. This research is a quantitative research with a correlational design type. The population in this study were all students of class VII MTs Negeri 5 Tangerang with a sample of 132 students and the sample technique used was simple random. The instruments used in this study were questionnaires and math learning outcomes test questions. Questionnaires are used to measure self-confidence and student learning independence. While the test is used to measure students' mathematics learning outcomes. Based on the results of the self-confidence regression test on student learning outcomes, the sig. 0.026 <0.05, meaning that there is a significant influence between self-confidence and student learning outcomes. Then for the results of the independent learning regression test on student learning outcomes, the sig value was obtained. 0.672 > 0.05, which means that there is no significant effect of independent learning on student learning outcomes. While the results of the regression test of self-confidence and learning independence on student learning outcomes, the sig. 0.084, which means that there is no significant effect of self-confidence and learning independence on students' mathematics learning outcomes.

All images are combined using 3DVista Virtual Tour software to produce 3600 effects. This research uses quantitative methods. This study focuses on the effectiveness of e-learning applications used in the Police Academy based on the input-process-output education management information system. The number of samples in this study was 66 AKPOL cadets. Samples were selected by random sampling. The instrument used is a test. Based on the results of data analysis, 1) the results of the average achievement test for the English language skills of the Police Academy cadets with the one-sample t-test obtained a value of 0.000 &lt;0.05, which means that the average results of the English skills of AKPOL cadets are more than 75; 2) the results of the classical mastery test of AKPOL cadets&#39; English skills with the proportion test obtained z hitung = 4.065&gt; 1.65 = z tabel which means that the proportion of completeness of AKPOL cadets is in the proportion of more than 80%. Based on the results of data analysis, it shows that the application of e-learning based on the ÉLISA application effective according to the needs of the Police Academy Cadets.

The technology used is the integration of Mathematica software in teaching integral concepts. This study used a quasi-experimental method. The population in this study were students from one of the private colleges who took calculus courses. Two groups were selected by purposive sampling as a control group and experimental group. Each group consists of thirty students. Both groups were given pretest and posttest related to problem-solving skills. The results showed that improvement in problem-solving abilities of students who received calculus courses with Mathematica was better than students who received calculus courses without Mathematica.

Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi adalah faktor sikap siswa. Faktor ini merupakan faktor yang berasal dari dalam diri siswa (internal). Salah satu sikap siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika adalah siswa yang merasa cemas terhadap matematika itu sendiri. Kecemasan yang dialami siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika disebut dengan kecemasan matematika (mathematics anxiety). Sikap cemas ini merupkan respon negatif yang membuat seseorang menghindari pembelajaran matematika serta ketidakmampuan dalam belajar matematika. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah 1) Untuk menyelidiki seberapa besar pengaruh kecemasan matematika terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa; 2) Untuk menyelidiki seberapa tinggi tingkat keeratan hubungan linier antara kecemasan matematika dengan hasil belajar matematika siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian korelasional karena bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan suatu variabel terhadap variabel lain. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Dharma Siswa, dengan subyek penelitiannya siswa kelas VII yang berjumlah 188 siswa. Dari hasil penelitian ini diperoleh nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 0.0204 = 2,04%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hanya sebesar 2.04% kecemasan matematika mempengaruhi hasil belajar matematika siswa. Sedangkan 2) Nilai koefisien korelasi antara kecemasan matematika dengan hasil belajar matematika adalah r =-0,1428. Dengan demikian, diperoleh hasil bahwa terdapat hubungan yang negatif antara kecemasan matematika (math anxiety) terhadap hasil belajar matematika, namun keeratan hubungan antara keduanya berada pada kategori sangat lemah

Hal ini dika-renakan dengan memiliki kemampuan tersebut, siswa mampu mengomunikasikan gagasan ataupun ide matema-tisnya baik secara lisan maupun tertulis. Namun, berdasarkan studi pendahuluan berupa tes kemampuan komu-nikasi matematis dan observasi kelas yang dilakukan peneliti di salah satu kelas di SMP Negeri 8 Kota Tangerang Selatan menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa masih tergolong rendah. Upaya yang da-pat dilakukan adalah dengan menerapkan suatu model pembelajaran yang dapat melatih dan menumbuhkan ke-mampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yaitu dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5E. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah besarnya peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran model Learning Cycle 5E lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa yang memper-oleh pembelajaran konvensional; untuk mengetahui apakah rata-rata kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran model Learning Cycle 5E melampaui dari nilai kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM). Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII.1, VII.2, dan VII.3 SMP Negeri 8 Kota Tangerang Selatan dan sampelnya adalah siswa kelas VII.2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VII.3 sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengam-bilan sampel menggunakan Cluster Random Sampling. Pengujian hipotesis penelitian dilakukan dengan uji para-metrik (uji t). Abstract Mathematical communication ability is a important ability to have students. This is because by having these abilities, students are able to communicate ideas or mathematical ideas both orally and in writing. However, based on preliminary studies in the form of mathematical communication and class observation, tests conducted by researchers in one class at SMP Negeri 8 Kota Tangerang Selatan showed that students' mathematical communication ability is still low. The efforts that can be done is to apply a model of learning that can train and cultivate students' mathematical communication ability by applying the learning cycle 5E model. The purpose of this study is to determine whether the improvement of mathematical communication skills of students who get learning model Learning Cycle 5E higher than students who obtain conventional learning; to find out whether the average of mathematical communication ability of students who get learning model Learning Cycle 5E exceeds the value of minimal mastery criteria (KKM). The population in this research was the students of class VII.1, VII.2, and VII.3 SMP Negeri 8 Kota Tangerang Selatan and the sample is the students of class VII.2 as the experimental class and class VII.3 as the control class. However, some studies in Indonesia have found that the students have difficulties in solving the set problem. This can be due to the pattern of mathematics teaching in schools. This study aims to provide design of learning in set topic with Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach. The research questions are: (1) How is the design of mathematics learning in the topic of set using RME approach? (2) How do students learn the topic of set by using the RME approach? This research method is design research with one cycle in SMP Dasana Indah Tangerang. The subjects were 24 students with one focus group, 5 students who had no errors in the initial test. Data of research obtained from sound recording, video, photos, and Student Activity Sheet, then be analyzed by comparing the Hypothesis of Trajectory Learning and Trajectory of Actual Learning. This study produces the Theory of Local Instruction, with four lessons, namely: (1) Determining the set and not the set; (2) Finding the concept of set of universe, subsets, empty set, and describing the models; (3) Finding the concept of intersection, union, and illustrating the models; (4) Find the concept of complement, difference, and describe the models, and use the models to solve the story problem. Abstrak Materi himpunan merupakan materi dasar dalam ilmu matematika dan kaitannya dekat dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Namun, beberapa penelitian di Indonesia mendapati bahwa siswa kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan himpunan. Hal ini dapat dikarenakan oleh pola pengajaran matematika di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan desain pembelajaran materi himpunan dengan pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME). Pertanyaan penelitian ini, yaitu: (1) Bagaimanakah desain pembelajaran matematika pada materi himpunan dengan menggunakan pendekatan RME? (2) Bagaimanakah cara siswa belajar himpunan dengan menggunakan pendekatan RME? Metode penelitian ini adalah design research dengan satu siklus di SMP Dasana Indah Tangerang. Subjek penelitian adalah 24 siswa dengan satu kelompok fokus yaitu 5 siswa yang tidak memiliki kesalahan pada tes awal. Data penelitian didapat dari rekaman suara, video, foto, dan Lembar Aktivitas Siswa, lalu dianalisis dengan membandingkan Hipotesis Lintasan Belajar dan Lintasan Pembelajaran Aktual. Penelitian ini menghasilkan Teori Instruksi Lokal, dengan empat pembelajaran, yaitu: (1) Menentukan himpunan dan bukan himpunan; (2) Menemukan konsep himpunan semesta, himpunan bagian, himpunan kosong, serta menggambarkan modelnya; (3) Menemukan konsep irisan, gabungan, serta menggambarkan modelnya; (4) Menemukan konsep komplemen, selisih, serta menggambarkan modelnya, dan menggunakan model-model tersebut untuk menyelesaikan soal cerita. Dalam pembelajaran tersebut, melalui permainan pengelompokan dan menggambarkan model siswa belajar himpunan secara antusias dan aktif.

Miskonsepsi pada materi bangun datar disebabkan oleh cara belajar siswa yang hanya menghafalkan bentuk dasar tanpa memahami hubungan antar bangun datar dan sifat-sifatnya. Upaya yang dilakukan dalam mengatasi miskonsepsi tersebut adalah dengan menerapkan pembelajaran konstruktivis. Salah satu model pembelajaran konstruktivis adalah Conceptual Understanding Procedures (CUPs). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran Conceptual Understanding Procedures (CUPs) sebagai upaya mengatasi miskonsepsi matematis siswa pada materi sifat-sifat bangun datar segiempat. Subjek penelitian adalah 12 orang siswa SMP yang mengalami miskonsepsi pada materi sifat-sifat bangun datar segiempat. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini melalui tes, video, observasi, dan wawancara. Validitas dan reliabilitas data melalui credibility, dependability, transferability, dan confirmability. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Conceptual Understanding Procedures (CUPs) yang terdiri dari fase individu, fase kelompok triplet, dan fase interpretasi seluruh kelas dapat mengatasi miskonsepsi siswa pada materi sifat-sifat bangun datar segiempat. Perubahan miskonsepsi siswa juga dapat dilihat dari nilai tes yang mengalami peningkatan nilai berdasarkan nilai tes awal dan tes akhir siswa. ABSTRACT Mistakes in understanding the concept became one of the factors that led to misconceptions in mathematics. The misconceptions in plane shapes are caused by the way of learning of students who only memorize the basic form without understanding the relationship between the plane shapes and its properties. Efforts made in overcoming these misconceptions is to apply constructivist learning. One of the constructivist learning models is Conceptual Understanding Procedures (CUPs). This paper proposes an algorithm to find the smallest MSE. To capture the four components of the time series data (namely, seasonal variation, trend variation, cyclical variation, and random variation), the exponential smoothing method was used. This method uses three factors for smoothing where the data are the smoothing factor, 0 < α < 1, the trend smoothing factor, 0 < γ < 1, and the seasonal change smoothing factor, 0 < β < 1. First, all possible combination values of smoothing factors will be generated to one decimal digit. After that, the smallest MSE of those combinations will be determined by using an algorithm and observing their convergence pattern.

This study aims to investigate the description of increasing the ability to understand mathematical concepts of students who learn to use Matematika GASING learning. The method used is the descriptive quantitative research method. The subjects used were five students from different schools: two students from SMP Negeri 2 Pagedangan, two students from SMP Negeri 3 Ambon, and a student from SMP Negeri 8 South Tangerang. These subjects were given the treatment of online Matematika GASING learning. The instrument used in this study was a test for understanding mathematical concepts given through a pretest and post-test. The research data obtained were then calculated and described to conclude. The results of this study indicate that there is no increase in the ability to understand mathematical concepts by learning Matematika GASING online. This is because several activities in the learning process are not implemented as well as students who are not used to learning online.

Because both of them demand students in total to be able to take responsibility for students related to the learning process. This study aims to investigate whether there is a significant effect of self-confidence and learning independence on students' mathematics learning outcomes. This research is a quantitative research with a correlational design type. The population in this study were all students of class VII MTs Negeri 5 Tangerang with a sample of 132 students and the sample technique used was simple random. The instruments used in this study were questionnaires and math learning outcomes test questions. Questionnaires are used to measure self-confidence and student learning independence. While the test is used to measure students' mathematics learning outcomes. Based on the results of the self-confidence regression test on student learning outcomes, the sig. 0.026 <0.05, meaning that there is a significant influence between self-confidence and student learning outcomes. Then for the results of the independent learning regression test on student learning outcomes, the sig value was obtained. 0.672 > 0.05, which means that there is no significant effect of independent learning on student learning outcomes. While the results of the regression test of self-confidence and learning independence on student learning outcomes, the sig. 0.084, which means that there is no significant effect of self-confidence and learning independence on students' mathematics learning outcomes.

This research uses quantitative methods. This study focuses on the effectiveness of e-learning applications used in the Police Academy based on the input-process-output education management information system. The number of samples in this study was 66 AKPOL cadets. Samples were selected by random sampling. The instrument used is a test. Based on the results of data analysis, 1) the results of the average achievement test for the English language skills of the Police Academy cadets with the one-sample t-test obtained a value of 0.000 &lt;0.05, which means that the average results of the English skills of AKPOL cadets are more than 75; 2) the results of the classical mastery test of AKPOL cadets&#39; English skills with the proportion test obtained z hitung = 4.065&gt; 1.65 = z tabel which means that the proportion of completeness of AKPOL cadets is in the proportion of more than 80%. Based on the results of data analysis, it shows that the application of e-learning based on the ÉLISA application effective according to the needs of the Police Academy Cadets.

The technology used is the integration of Mathematica software in teaching integral concepts. This study used a quasi-experimental method. The population in this study were students from one of the private colleges who took calculus courses. Two groups were selected by purposive sampling as a control group and experimental group. Each group consists of thirty students. Both groups were given pretest and posttest related to problem-solving skills. The results showed that improvement in problem-solving abilities of students who received calculus courses with Mathematica was better than students who received calculus courses without Mathematica.

Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi adalah faktor sikap siswa. Faktor ini merupakan faktor yang berasal dari dalam diri siswa (internal). Salah satu sikap siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika adalah siswa yang merasa cemas terhadap matematika itu sendiri. Kecemasan yang dialami siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika disebut dengan kecemasan matematika (mathematics anxiety). Sikap cemas ini merupkan respon negatif yang membuat seseorang menghindari pembelajaran matematika serta ketidakmampuan dalam belajar matematika. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah 1) Untuk menyelidiki seberapa besar pengaruh kecemasan matematika terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa; 2) Untuk menyelidiki seberapa tinggi tingkat keeratan hubungan linier antara kecemasan matematika dengan hasil belajar matematika siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian korelasional karena bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan suatu variabel terhadap variabel lain. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Dharma Siswa, dengan subyek penelitiannya siswa kelas VII yang berjumlah 188 siswa. Dari hasil penelitian ini diperoleh nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 0.0204 = 2,04%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hanya sebesar 2.04% kecemasan matematika mempengaruhi hasil belajar matematika siswa. Sedangkan 2) Nilai koefisien korelasi antara kecemasan matematika dengan hasil belajar matematika adalah r =-0,1428. Dengan demikian, diperoleh hasil bahwa terdapat hubungan yang negatif antara kecemasan matematika (math anxiety) terhadap hasil belajar matematika, namun keeratan hubungan antara keduanya berada pada kategori sangat lemah

Hal ini dika-renakan dengan memiliki kemampuan tersebut, siswa mampu mengomunikasikan gagasan ataupun ide matema-tisnya baik secara lisan maupun tertulis. Namun, berdasarkan studi pendahuluan berupa tes kemampuan komu-nikasi matematis dan observasi kelas yang dilakukan peneliti di salah satu kelas di SMP Negeri 8 Kota Tangerang Selatan menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa masih tergolong rendah. Upaya yang da-pat dilakukan adalah dengan menerapkan suatu model pembelajaran yang dapat melatih dan menumbuhkan ke-mampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yaitu dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5E. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII.1, VII.2, dan VII.3 SMP Negeri 8 Kota Tangerang Selatan dan sampelnya adalah siswa kelas VII.2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VII.3 sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengam-bilan sampel menggunakan Cluster Random Sampling. Pengujian hipotesis penelitian dilakukan dengan uji para-metrik (uji t). Abstract Mathematical communication ability is a important ability to have students. This is because by having these abilities, students are able to communicate ideas or mathematical ideas both orally and in writing. However, based on preliminary studies in the form of mathematical communication and class observation, tests conducted by researchers in one class at SMP Negeri 8 Kota Tangerang Selatan showed that students' mathematical communication ability is still low. The efforts that can be done is to apply a model of learning that can train and cultivate students' mathematical communication ability by applying the learning cycle 5E model. The purpose of this study is to determine whether the improvement of mathematical communication skills of students who get learning model Learning Cycle 5E higher than students who obtain conventional learning; to find out whether the average of mathematical communication ability of students who get learning model Learning Cycle 5E exceeds the value of minimal mastery criteria (KKM). This type of research is quasi experiment. The research design used is nonequivalent control group design. The population in this research was the students of class VII.1, VII.2, and VII.3 SMP Negeri 8 Kota Tangerang Selatan and the sample is the students of class VII.2 as the experimental class and class VII.3 as the control class. The sampling technique used random sampling. Hypothesis of research was tested by parametric test (t test). In this research, it can be concluded that the improvement of mathematical communication ability of students who get learning cycle 5e model is higher than students who get conventional learning; and the average mathematical communication ability of the experimental class has exceeded the KKM.

Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah instrumen tes yang telah valid berupa soal pretest dan posttest yang berbentuk uraian. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji statistik non parametrik. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran matematika dengan pendekatan CTL lebih baik daripada siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran matematika dengan konvesional, Rata-rata kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan pendekatan CTL kurang dari atau sama dengan KKM. H... more Topic of set is a basic consept in mathematics and its relationship is close to our daily life. However, some studies in Indonesia have found that the students have difficulties in solving the set problem. This can be due to the pattern of mathematics teaching in schools. This study aims to provide design of learning in set topic with Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach. The research questions are: (1) How is the design of mathematics learning in the topic of set using RME approach? (2) How do students learn the topic of set by using the RME approach? This research method is design research with one cycle in SMP Dasana Indah Tangerang. The subjects were 24 students with one focus group, 5 students who had no errors in the initial test. Data of research obtained from sound recording, video, photos, and Student Activity Sheet, then be analyzed by comparing the Hypothesis of Trajectory Learning and Trajectory of Actual Learning. This study produces the Theory of Local Instruction, with four lessons, namely: (1) Determining the set and not the set; (2) Finding the concept of set of universe, subsets, empty set, and describing the models; (3) Finding the concept of intersection, union, and illustrating the models; (4) Find the concept of complement, difference, and describe the models, and use the models to solve the story problem. In the learning process, through grouping games and describe the model, student learning the notion of set enthusiasticly and actively. Abstrak Materi himpunan merupakan materi dasar dalam ilmu matematika dan kaitannya dekat dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Namun, beberapa penelitian di Indonesia mendapati bahwa siswa kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan himpunan. Hal ini dapat dikarenakan oleh pola pengajaran matematika di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan desain pembelajaran materi himpunan dengan pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME). Pertanyaan penelitian ini, yaitu: (1) Bagaimanakah desain pembelajaran matematika pada materi himpunan dengan menggunakan pendekatan RME? (2) Bagaimanakah cara siswa belajar himpunan dengan menggunakan pendekatan RME? Metode penelitian ini adalah design research dengan satu siklus di SMP Dasana Indah Tangerang. Subjek penelitian adalah 24 siswa dengan satu kelompok fokus yaitu 5 siswa yang tidak memiliki kesalahan pada tes awal. Data penelitian didapat dari rekaman suara, video, foto, dan Lembar Aktivitas Siswa, lalu dianalisis dengan membandingkan Hipotesis Lintasan Belajar dan Lintasan Pembelajaran Aktual. Penelitian ini menghasilkan Teori Instruksi Lokal, dengan empat pembelajaran, yaitu: (1) Menentukan himpunan dan bukan himpunan; (2) Menemukan konsep himpunan semesta, himpunan bagian, himpunan kosong, serta menggambarkan modelnya; (3) Menemukan konsep irisan, gabungan, serta menggambarkan modelnya; (4) Menemukan konsep komplemen, selisih, serta menggambarkan modelnya, dan menggunakan model-model tersebut untuk menyelesaikan soal cerita. Dalam pembelajaran tersebut, melalui permainan pengelompokan dan menggambarkan model siswa belajar himpunan secara antusias dan aktif.

Miskonsepsi pada materi bangun datar disebabkan oleh cara belajar siswa yang hanya menghafalkan bentuk dasar tanpa memahami hubungan antar bangun datar dan sifat-sifatnya. Upaya yang dilakukan dalam mengatasi miskonsepsi tersebut adalah dengan menerapkan pembelajaran konstruktivis. Salah satu model pembelajaran konstruktivis adalah Conceptual Understanding Procedures (CUPs). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran Conceptual Understanding Procedures (CUPs) sebagai upaya mengatasi miskonsepsi matematis siswa pada materi sifat-sifat bangun datar segiempat. Subjek penelitian adalah 12 orang siswa SMP yang mengalami miskonsepsi pada materi sifat-sifat bangun datar segiempat. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini melalui tes, video, observasi, dan wawancara. Validitas dan reliabilitas data melalui credibility, dependability, transferability, dan confirmability. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Conceptual Understanding Procedures (CUPs) yang terdiri dari fase individu, fase kelompok triplet, dan fase interpretasi seluruh kelas dapat mengatasi miskonsepsi siswa pada materi sifat-sifat bangun datar segiempat. Perubahan miskonsepsi siswa juga dapat dilihat dari nilai tes yang mengalami peningkatan nilai berdasarkan nilai tes awal dan tes akhir siswa. ABSTRACT Mistakes in understanding the concept became one of the factors that led to misconceptions in mathematics. The misconceptions in plane shapes are caused by the way of learning of students who only memorize the basic form without understanding the relationship between the plane shapes and its properties. Efforts made in overcoming these misconceptions is to apply constructivist learning. One of the constructivist learning models is Conceptual Understanding Procedures (CUPs). The purpose of this research is to know the application of conceptual learning model Conceptual Understanding Procedure (CUPs) as an effort to overcome students' mathematical misconception on the properties of quadrilateral. Research subjects were 12 students who experienced misconceptions on the properties of quadrilaterals. Data collection was conducted through test, video, observation, and interview. This is because by having these abilities, students are able to communicate ideas or mathematical ideas both orally and in writing. However, based on preliminary studies in the form of mathematical communication and class observation tests conducted by researchers in one class at SMP Negeri 8 Kota Tangerang Selatan showed that students' mathematical communication ability is still low. The efforts that can be done is to apply a model of learning that can train and cultivate students' mathematical communication ability by applying the learning cycle 5e model. The purpose of this study is to determine the whether average of improvement mathematical communication skills of students who get learning model learning cycle 5e higher than students who obtain conventional learning. This type of research is quasi experiment. The research design used is nonequivalent control group design. The population in this research are the students of class VII.1, VII.2, and VII.3 SMP Negeri 8 Kota Tangerang Selatan and the sample is the students of class VII.2 as the experimental class and class VII.3 as the control class. The sampling technique used cluster random sampling. Hypothesis testing of research done by parametric test (t test). In this research, it can be concluded that the average of improvement mathematical communication ability of students who get learning cycle 5e model is higher than students who get conventional learning.

This research is a pre-experimental design. The design that is used in this study is The One Shot Case Study. The purpose of this study is to find out: (1) to implement of Matematika GASING into the concept of multiplication (2) to know the influence of Matematika GASING toward students learning outcome (3) to know the positive influence of students interest and motivation simultaneously to mathematics learning outcome in Matematika GASING. The population in this study is 5 th grade students in Cihuni I elementary school in Kelapa Dua Tangerang districts. The sampling technique used purposive sampling and data collected by test and questionaire. The data findings analyzed by using anova with significance with level 5%. The expected results this research are: (1) Matematika GASING can be implement into the concept of multiplication (2) there is positive influence of Matematika GASING toward students learning outcome, (3) there is positive influence of students interest and motivation simultaneously to mathematics learning outcome in Matematika GASING.
