El Salvador Lot #17 Finca Himalaya

This limited batch of direct trade coffee was found deep in the mountains of Finca Himalaya by our friend Mauricio Silvera. The Natural process used in the fermentation stages of coffee's lifecycle brings out flavors of Honeydew, Caramel, and Cherry. The micro-lot is a blend of Caturra and Pacas varietals, slow dried on African beds.

Guatemala Jose Humberto

This masterpiece requires part genius, creativity, and a lot of hard work. The genius comes from Jose Humberto’s father, whose background is in agrochemistry. His knowledge, paired with Jose Humberto’s creativity and out-of-the-box thinking, created this secret family recipe. They use a yellow Catuai varietal carefully selected and grown at over 5,200 feet in the small mountain town of Mataquescuintla. Their family has grown coffee here for generations, with each generation improving upon the former.

Ethiopia Kossa Geshe

Abdul runs the Kossa Geshe estate, which began in 2016. He collects coffee cherries from two neighboring zones, which are then separated by varietal and cherry quality. The quality coming out of Kossa Geshe saw quick success, winning a “Good Food Award” in 2018. This was one of the first awards for a producer from western Ethiopia, rivaling the southern region’s esteemed Yirgacheffe and Sidamo. With this success, Abdul reinvested into his community by building a primary school, new dorms with solar panels, and implementing a ledger system to create wage transparency with his employees. Abdul has eagerly taken suggestions and ideas to improve his practices, and the quality of Kossa Geshe has consistently impressed.
