Majivuno ni tabia ya mtu kujipongeza mno kutokana na sifa alizonazo[1][2][3].

Katika maadili ya Ukristo (Lk 14:11; 1Pet 5:5), majivuno ni mmojawapo kati ya mizizi ya dhambi (au vilema vikuu au vichwa vya dhambi) inayozaa dhambi nyingine nyingi (1Kor 5:6-7).
Jina la Kilatini (vanitas au vanagloria, kwa Kiingereza: vanity[4] au vainglory[5]) linahusisha tabia hiyo na ubatili.
