The Quintessons unleash their final weapons, the Terrorcons.

Synopsis
Sent on behalf of the Quintessons to assist the humans against the Selectors, Autobots, and Decepticons, the Terrorcons leap out of the sky and immediately attack their opponents. Volcanicus and Computron unfortunately don't fare well, as Computron's transfer of his intelligence to the other combiner has removed their respective and unique abilities of beastly battlelust and super-computation. Megatron tries to rein in his former underlings, but Hun-Gurrr pays little attention as he consumes a Smashdown and a Soundbarrier. With the power of Angolmois Energy, he converts the Selectors into a snake robot that he spits at his former leader.
In the Mother Computer's chamber, a confused Spike Witwicky berates his ally for not telling him about the Terrorcons and whatever the cobra-like Selector is. The Judge explains that it's their newest product—Quintesson-brand Selectors called Slitherfangs. He demonstrates their creation with a Soundbarrier trapped in a Recreator, who turns out to have been one of the Selectors from Spike's household. His pleas are ignored as the Quintesson uses Angolmois Energy to convert him into a Slitherfang. Aghast at the realization that Selectors like him were truly living beings exploited by the humans, Spike gets into an argument with the Judge, who simply counters that slaves will always be possessions of their masters and deserve to be punished for any rebellion.
At Neo Scramble City, Rippersnapper tears into Red Alert and is about to strike Inferno with his Angolmois Ball attack, but it's blocked by a wall of Doublecrossers! The wall, however, is simply picked up by Cutthroat and the poor Selectors are fed to his brood of Pteraxadons, whom he's grown and expanded with an stolen Energon Matrix and the power of Angolmois. Nearby, Blot takes down Orthia with his noxious slime gun, splitting the combiner into her Female Autobot components. Elita One realizes that, since being empowered with Angolmois Energy, Blot's oil contains anti-electrons and the corroding gas is emanating from his very body.
Optimus Prime struggles to get up, calling the situation hell, to which Sinnertwin, self-stylized "Watchdog of Hell", gleefully explains that the Selectors' sparks won't be joining the heavenly Allspark; instead, they'll be fed into the Transformers' new "hell"—the Hellspark within Hun-Gurrr's base mode. Both Optimus and Megatron remark on the deadly power Angolmois Energy has given the Terrorcons...
Gloating, the Quintesson Judge explains that, indeed, the Terrorcons were the ultimate Terrorbots created by them to harness Unicron's very power. They were originally lent to the Decepticons for a mission to harvest energy from Unicron's head, but they could not find their goal, and so their purpose went unfulfilled. But everything worked out, as the Angolmois Energy was in Earth all along, and they'll use it to convert the planet into the next Unicron to conquer the universe! Spike has had enough and declares that humanity could have lived with the Selectors if they had shown love instead of the Quintesson's cruelty. Unimpressed, the Judge simply shoots Spike. Grasping to life, Spike wonders why the Mother Computer sided with the Quintessons before realizing that it, too, runs on Angolmois—the Quintesson's wicked hearts had already converted it into malevolent energy. As the alien rants, Angolmois Energy begins erupting as Rung watches from afar...
On the surface, Megatron and Optimus Prime realize from the presence of the Sharkticons and the Allicons that the Quintessons have joined forces with the humans but nevertheless seek to exterminate everybody not Quintesson. Megatron, having been rebuilt by Unicron, can hold much Angolmois Energy within his body and so begins absorbing the Terrorcons' own Angolmois Energy. Optimus worries that this will make Megatron turn to evil once again, but Megatron simply replies that he's counting on Optimus to take care of him if it gets to that. To support their troops, the Quintessons send out the Terrorbreaster and it attaches with Hun-Gurrr, giving his troop the ability to once again combine into the monstrous Abominus. But Megatron has already evolved into his final form... Megatron Omega! But Abominus simply blasts a hole in the empowered Decepticon's chest and leaves him for dead. Angolmois Energy suddenly erupts from the ground, corrupting Hot Rod into a dark form and the former Autobot commander asks Optimus for help...

Notes
Continuity notes
- The Terrorcons' first appearance in the Generation 1 cartoon —where they show up without explanation to visit Unicron's head with the other Decepticons in "Grimlock's New Brain"—is explained in this comic as them seeking out Angolmois Energy to utilize.
- "The Road to Legends' Revival Chapter 3" previously established that the Terrorcons were Quintesson creations in Japanese continuity, retroactively providing them with an origin more than three decades after their debut.
Transformers references
- Rippersnapper uses the "Angolmois Ball" (アンゴルモアボール) attack, which would later be used by Magnaboss in Beast Wars II.
- The Energon Matrix that Cutthroat has stolen is visually based on the Terrorcon Enigma available with the Power of the Primes version of Hun-Gurrr.
- Blot's new ability is to secrete oil containing anti-electrons, a substance that played a key role in the same episode that the Terrorcons first appeared in.
- Sinnertwin refers to the Transformer afterlife, the Allspark.
- Sinnertwin calls himself the "Watchdog of Hell" (地獄の番犬 Jigoku no Banken), referring to the belief that his alternate mode is actually that of an Orthrus, a mythological two-headed dog related to Cerberus, traditional guardian of the Greek underworld.
- Hun-Gurrr uses his rejected base mode.
- Continuing with War for Cybertron Trilogy toys making their character debuts in Japanese continuity, this story adds the remaining Powerdashers Aragon and Cromar to the mix, as well as Rotorstorm the Turbomaster, none of whom were released in Japan. Meanwhile, Ricochet's Generations Selects toy was not released in Japan, though the character debuted in Japanese media. Finally, Hot Rod's "Rodimus Unicronus" form is new to Japanese continuity, though the figure was released in 2018 by TakaraTomy.
- The panel where Spike gets shot by the Quintesson Judge is visually similar to scene where Smokescreen gets shot by the Requiem Blaster in the Armada episode "Sacrifice". Whether this was intentional or just pure coincidence is unknown.
Other notes
- Blot makes a terrible pun with his Japanese name: ブットばす, a homophone of ぶっ飛ばす (buttobasu), meaning "to send flying".
- While the last few releases in the Generations Selects Special Comic line have been split into shorter chapters published two at a time, this issue is instead a single double-length chapter.
