Binbōgami
From Transformers Wiki
- Binbōgami is a spirit from Momotarō Densetsu.
Binbōgami (貧乏神, "Spirit of Poverty") is not really a villain, but every time he tries to help someone, such as Momotarō, he screws it up...and he never knows when to quit, so he keeps causing trouble.
He attacks with his giant die, which causes different bad things to happen to his foes depending on the outcome of its roll: A red ? causes damage, a green ? reverses a foe's directions, a blue ? prevents attacking or guarding, and a yellow ? lowers a foe's speed and jump height. A certain roll will turn Binbōgami himself into Mini-Bonbī, which greatly reduces his own power and abilities. His best roll summons the power of King Bonbī, which induces all four of the negative effects of his die in all his opponents at once. He can also attack with his flatulence.

Note
- Binbōgami is based on Japanese folkloric spirits of the same name.
- The character on Binbōgami's fundoshi is び (bi), the first character in the hiragana spelling of his name.
- While Binbōgami originates from the Momotarō Densetsu series, his use of a die in attacks is in reference to its much longer running board game spinoff series, Momotarō Dentetsu.
- Binbōgami's profile images in DreamMix TV World Fighters are his character artwork from the 1998 remake of Momotarō Densetsu, along with the artwork for Mini-Bonbī and King Bonbī.
- As in his home series, Mini-Bonbī is depicted in both his character model and artwork without clothing, meaning that certain...body parts are visible. Don't look too close, kids!
