Deuterium Orbital Laser Tracing System

The Deuterium Orbital Laser Tracing System is a miraculous weapon. It can trace any Decepticon warrior, wherever they are, transformed or not, and destroy them in the matter of a few seconds. Though it's not quite complete yet, when it is, it will spell certain doom for the Decepticons on Earth. It's fortunate for them, then, that it doesn't exist. If they were more familiar with human idioms, they might notice that the name's acronym is D.O.L.T.S.

The Battle for Planet Earth

After Starscream pretended to defect to the Autobots in order to act as a spy, Optimus Prime and his men cooked up a scheme involving the D.O.L.T.S. Starscream was shown a metal box with engine parts in it for weight, and told that the D.O.L.T.S. was going to be relocated to a cave on Mount Levram for safety. Starscream naturally reported this news back to the Decepticons. The next day, the entire Decepticon force flew out and leveled Mount Levram in an act which would surely have destroyed the D.O.L.T.S., had it actually existed. Meanwhile, the Autobots leveled the Decepticon base. After subsequently freeing Starscream, Optimus couldn't help calling after him to point out the acronym and explain what it meant. Espionage!!!!!
