Synopsis
Gekisoumaru reveals the secret entrance to the Shinobi Team's underground base to Tobio. Sensuimaru and Hishoumaru are already in the base, while Isami and the Samurai Team appear on a video monitor. It turns out the teams have been gathered to introduce the kids to Optimus Prime (also via video monitor), and to hear his information about the legendiscs. Optimus explains that there are five legendiscs, and that while three - one each with Isami and Tobio, and one in Dragotron's body - are in the present, the other two are trapped in the past. Isami and Tobio must use their legendiscs to allow the teams to travel back in time to retrieve them. Just then, Tobio's disc reacts to another time slip point, and the Shinobi team leaves to track it down.
Unbeknownst to the Autobots, Judora has planted a bug on Isami and is listening to their conversation from the Predacon base. He is interrupted by Budora, who informs him that Dragotron's repairs are going more slowly than they'd hoped. Judora secretly resolves that Tobio's legendisc will be his either way.
The Shinobi team arrives at the time slip point, but are attacked by Judora and Gaidora. The moment the Predacons touch Tobio's disc, however, everyone is transported back to the past. There, the Shinobi team notices a group of fleeing monkeys with a lone ninja following them. They pursue the ninja, who quickly incapacitates the Shinobi Team with chains. Tobio explains that they're looking for a legendisc, and the ninja introduces himself as Kotarō Fūma, leader of the Fūma Ninja Clan. Tobio realizes that Kotarō must be his ancestor, and asks him to hand over his legendisc. Kotarō reveals that he has the yellow legendisc, but that Tobio must take it from him if he wants it. The Shinobi Team breaks free of their chains and offers to assist, but Tobio replies that his opponent is only a human and that he can take the disc on his own.
Tobio tries various tactics to steal the disc before feigning injury and stealing the disc. Kotarō reveals, however, that Tobio has stolen a fake, and that no true ally of justice would ever resort to deceit or turn down the help of his friends. Just then, Judora and Gaidora attack, summoning Jaki from the ground. The Shinobi Team makes short work of the Jaki, so Judora orders them to combine into Black Goradora. Black Goradora attacks the Shinobi Team, razing a large swath of the forest around him. Tobio notices a monkey and her baby trapped in a nearby tree, and realizes that he's the only one who can save them. Recalling Kotarō's words, he asks Sensuimaru to put out the fires near the tree and rushes to save the two monkeys. Unfortunately, just as he reaches the pair the tree collapses, raining burning logs on him. Kotarō appears in a flash, carrying Tobio and the two monkeys to safety.
Kotarō is impressed by Tobio's selfless act, and gives him the legendisc. Tobio uses it to allow the Shinobi Team to combine into GoSensui, defeating Black Goradora. Judora orders the Jaki to re-combine, this time taking to the skies. The Shinobi Team combines into GoHishou, defeating Black Goradora again before moving to attack Judora and Gaidora. As GoHishou's weapon connects with the two Predacons, however, everyone is transported back to the present.
Tobio is frustrated that they've lost the legendisc, but Gekisoumaru reminds him that they learned an important lesson from Kotarō: As long as they keep justice in their hearts, they will recover the legendiscs some day. Tobio and the Shinobi Team resolve to do their best.

Notes
Continuity Notes
- The previous episode depicted Dragotron with a character model based on his Voyager class toy. Beginning with this episode, however, he is given a new character model based on the much larger Guren Dragotron toy, but with a deco based on that of the Transformers Prime Beast Hunters Beast Fire Predaking figure, making this a repurposing of the Beast Fire Predaking toy into representing a pre-Guren Dragotron.
Real-world references
- Continuing in the tradition of the first few episodes, Kotarō Fūma is a real historical figure.
