- Dither the Helper Bot is a robot from the Rescue Bots cartoon portion of the Aligned continuity family.
Dither the Helper Bot assists Doc Greene and has an obsession with toast. Those, we can understand—it's the fact he has a wig and tie matching Doc Greene's hair and tie which is weird. He is nuclear powered. He appears to be Doc Greene's most intelligent invention...to an extent, considering the whole toast thing.

When Mayor Luskey visited Doc Greene to complain about the failure of the Griffin Rock lighthouse, Dither repeatedly offered him toast. After a piece of toast bounced off the Mayor's head causing him to turn red with rage, the Doc quickly blocked Dither from causing any more mischief. Deep Trouble Dither was trying to do inventory in the Hall of Inspiration archives when Aristotle and Edison started chasing it around. Countdown Frankie roped Dither into flying a small UFO around so she could make a film for her school multimedia project. He ended up getting chased around the fire station by the Rescue Bots before Frankie stopped him. Shake Up
After discovering a time machine, Doc Greene reprogrammed Dither and sent him back to 1939 as a test. Encountering Doctor Morocco, Dither's human avoidance programming kicked in and he fled. Cody Burns and Frankie, who'd also been transported back in time, tracked him down and reprogrammed him again so they could use him to get home. Unfortunately he was fried while trying to free the Rescue Bots and left under a table. He was later found by scientists. It's a Bot Time Morocco set about studying Dither's technology. It would have led to a MorBot-filled Morocco-controlled present had the Rescue Bots not returned to the past and retrieved Dither. Bot to the Future
When Vigil was heading for the laboratory, Frankie had Dither lock the building up, however Vigil was able to possess Dither and access the lab anyway. After Vigil transferred himself back out of Dither, the helper-bot was instructed to shut down the force field dome in which the island had been trapped. No Place Like Dome Doc Greene upgraded Dither with a new bio-electric chip, however the chip became contaminated with bacteria, resulting in Dither going on a toaster-stealing rampage. It ended when Professor Baranova announced she'd like some toast, and switched Dither off while he was plugging in the toasters he'd collected. Bot-Tastic Voyage
Dither conducted a robot band during Bot Appreciation Week. All Bots Great and Small The helper bot assisted in the production of large quantities of floatium so the island could be floated from the Arctic back to Maine. Today and Forever Dither attended Frankie's birthday party. Upgrades
