Ethos
From Transformers Wiki
Ethos is a unique, peaceful planet of cybo-organic brain cultures and self-regulating liquid computers. It has an atmosphere alive with neural energy and pure thought, or at least it did until the planet fell into the sights of the Cybertronian Empire.
The planet is inhabited by one-eyed, tentacled beings with translucent skin that reveals their inner organs.

Marvel Generation 2 comics
Jhiaxus selected Ethos as one of several planets he intended to conquer for the Cybertronian empire. He hoped that the destruction of these planets and any non-Transformer life living on them would reach the Autobots and draw them out into direct conflict with his troops.
Word of the attack on Ethos did reach the Autobots, just as Megatron and Optimus Prime were negotiating an alliance against Jhiaxus' forces. Megatron dismissed the planet as peripheral to their cause, but Optimus Prime disagreed, stating that the primary task of Autobots was safeguarding all forms of life. Prime and the Autobots left to stop the attack while Megatron and Starscream argued.
When they arrived on Ethos and viewed the carnage, Prime marveled in shock at the devastation and utter disregard for life. The Autobots confronted the Cybertronian forces, but were overwhelmed by numbers and firepower. Prime agonized over retreating and leaving the Ethosians to their fate when Megatron and the Decepticons arrived and turned the battle to their favor.
As for the Ethosians, only five of them escaped the genocide. Sad. Escalation!
