Gōmya

Gōmya is an alien from the Beast Wars Neo portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

An intelligent space seal with aviator goggles and brightly colored prehensile hair, Gōmya (ゴーミャ) is an average representative of his species in most respects—on the outside, anyway. Inside, he harbors a dark secret of freakish transgressions against social norms, which will tear his family apart.

Shamefully for a space seal, Gōmya is a poor and timid swimmer. He inadvertently revealed this to his elder brother Dōmya, whose response was to scorn him and beat him. Gōmya went into a tantrum of anger and self-pity, and at that moment happened to come into contact with an Angolmois Capsule that had just crashed on his planet, Solid. His emotional outburst, powered by the energy of the capsule, caused the entire planet to freeze, trapping Dōmya under a sea of ice. Only a timely intervention by Break caused Gōmya to decide that he didn't hate his brother and relent in his callous emotions, letting the ice of the planet thaw. He would repay this favour by helping Break retrieve the Angolmois capsule by swimming closely enough to it that Break could capture it.

Gōmya and his brother later thanked Break and the Maximals for helping thaw their planet, while Gōmya promised to never fight with his older brother again. Burning Heart Below Freezing

Does not moonlight as Bomberman's steed.

• Gōmya originally had a much different design, looking like a mix between a penguin and a puppy.^[1]
