Gerry Chiniquy

Gerry Chiniquy (June 23, 1912–November 22, 1989) was an American animator and animation director. Born Germain Adolph Chiniquy in Illinois, he joined Friz Freleng's unit in 1940 and his first animation work was on the short Little Blabbermouse. He continued to work with Freleng for decades to come, animating on many Warner Bros. shorts. During the '80s he worked for Marvel Productions on many of their cartoons, including Jem, G.I. Joe and The Transformers. He won the Animation Guild's Golden award in 1988.
