Transformers references
- Grimlock sports a smart bow tie and apron while preparing and serving Christmas drinks, a callback to the time he played waiter in the Generation 1 cartoon episode "Madman's Paradise," perhaps most memorable for the getup's inclusion with his first Masterpiece toy.
- Wheeljack gifts Ironhide a presumably-homemade live mechanimal whose protruding claw bears a striking resemblance to Grimlock's own, a callback to Wheeljack's role as the Dinobots' creator in the Generation 1 cartoon episode "S.O.S. Dinobots." A possible Slash cameo? Perhaps time will tell.
