Jada Toys is an American toy company focused on manufacturing licensed die-cast figures and car replicas from popular brands and franchises.

Transformers characters from the live-action film series, Generation 1, Beast Wars and Rescue Bots have been included in a number of Jada's toylines, mostly in the form of vehicle mode replicas, and are usually co-branded with concurrently released Transformers toylines.

Metals Die Cast / Hollywood Rides

The Metals Die Cast assortment features faithful die-cast vehicle recreations with rubber tires at various scale sizes. Similar to the Robot Powered Machines, the 1/24 and 1/32 scales feature a sculpted image of the robot mode on the bottom of the vehicle, while the 1/64 scale has only the robot's face sculpted. In some cases, the Hollywood Rides brand is used simultaneously with Metals Die Cast and sometimes even replaces it entirely. It's all rather confusing, so it's easier to just think of the two as one and the same.

All characters with licensed vehicle modes include the name of the vehicle as part of the full name of the replica on the front of the packaging (such as in "2016 Chevy Camaro Bumblebee"), while unlicensed vehicles are only named after the characters themselves (as is the case with The Last Knight Barricade). For simplicity's sake, we're only using the characters' names on the lists below, except where a distinction between vehicle modes is made necessary.

The Last Knight

The Last Knight vehicles were made available in 2017 to tie-in with the film's release. All 1/24 models are available with and without a collectible coin, except for Optimus Prime which never comes with one, while most 1/64 models come with a display base that can be aligned side-by-side with all the others to create a unified backdrop.

The 1/16 Bumblebee R/C was then released in 2018, and the 1/32 Costco exclusive 3-pack was released in 2020.

The TakaraTomy Mall exclusive Optimus Prime is sold as a 1/64 model even though it's actually identical to the 1/32 release. The reason may be because the trailer is sized specifically to store 1/64 cars inside.

The Transformers

A line based directly on Generation 1 characters in packaging inspired by the original toyline. It started in 2018 and has occasionally seen new releases over the years.

Bumblebee

To tie-in with the release of the Bumblebee movie in 2018, three monster truck-style radio controlled Bumblebee alternate modes were released, as well as a more traditional robot-on-chassis replica of the character's VW mode which comes packaged with a static figurine of Charlie Watson.

Studio Series

To tie-in with the contemporary Studio Series toyline also in 2018, Jada released replicas of Bumblebee and Optimus Prime based on their alternate modes from the first live-action movie. Their packagings even feature the same "Police Chase" and "Forest Fight" backdrops included with the first Studio Series release of their respective characters. However, they are also available in more generic-looking packagings (similar in appearance to the ones from the Age of Extinction toyline) that do not brand them as Studio Series products, with some versions even replacing their movie artworks for their evergreen designs. Regardless of the packaging, both versions of Bumblebee are available with and without a collectible coin.

Two models based on Sideswipe's Revenge of the Fallen vehicle mode were later announced, but eventually cancelled. In late 2022, a 1/32 3-pack reuniting 2007's Optimus Prime with his Generation 1 and The Last Knight counterparts was released in one of those evergreen-style packagings—so even though it's technically not a Studio Series release, where else are we gonna put it?

Rise of the Beasts

In 2023, Jada Toys released replicas of the vehicle modes of multiple characters from Rise of the Beasts. The 1/24 toys other than Optimus Prime came with a die-cast Autobot badge standee.

    The Transformers/Ghostbusters

2024 saw the release of a crossover line between Generation 1 and the Ghostbusters franchise, featuring redecoes of previously released 1/24 and 1/32 vehicles. The pair of Optimus Prime redecoes is based on the MP-10G Optimus Prime Ecto-35 Edition figure from the Collaborative toyline, itself based on the original Ecto-1 colors, while the pair of Ecto-1 redecoes is conversely painted after the Autobot leader himself.

    Nano Hollywood Rides

The Nano Hollywood Rides assortment is composed of very small vehicle replicas measuring approximately 1.65 inches long, similar in size to but less detailed than the 1/64 scaled Metals Die Cast models. They don't feature their robot modes embossed on their undersides, however. All products in this line are also branded as Die Cast Collector's Series and were released (or supposed to be released) in 3-packs.

    The Last Knight / Transformers

Only one 3-pack based on the first and fifth movies was released in 2019 in what was originally planned to be a larger toyline covering all live-action movies. Two more 3-packs were announced for a 2020 release but were left unreleased.

An image of the Age of Extinction Hot Shot toy was used for the announcement, but it was most likely just a placeholder for another character.

    The Transformers

Similarly, only one 3-pack based on Generation 1 was released in 2020. A second 3-pack was announced with Jazz as part of it, but the pack got delayed and by 2022 Jazz got replaced by Hot Rod. As of 2023, however, it's unclear if the pack will ever get to see an official release in any form.

    Metalfigs

The Metalfigs assortment features die-cast robot mode figures at two different sizes. The 4 inches tall figures are super deformed and feature three points of articulation, while the 2 3/4 inches tall figures are more standard-looking and completely static.

    The Last Knight

Two figures based on The Last Knight characters were released in 2018.

    The Transformers

Figures based on Generation 1 characters were first release in 2020. The 4" figures now feature light-up eyes and come with two accessories each. Also released this year was a 4-pack of 2 3/4" die-cast figurines with standard proportions. A 4" Megatron was revealed as being in development but was silently canceled.

A second 4-pack was released in 2022, this time featuring superdeformed figurines based on the previous 4" figures plus a newly-designed figurine of a Beast Wars character. The same four figures were also made available in single packs in the following year.

    Nano Metalfigs

The Nano Metalfigs are static figurines just like the 2 3/4 figures, except they're even smaller and measure approximately 4 cm or 1 1/2 inches tall. Due to their diminutive size, they come with small bases attached to their feet.

Two 18-packs were released in 2022, with "Series 1" featuring only Generation 1 characters and "Series 2" adding some Beast Wars characters to the mix. 2023 saw the release of a "Series 3" pack, which is mostly made up of re-releases.

For whatever reason, these packs are available in two styles of packaging each, one vertically-oriented and another horizontally-oriented, with the vertical version being the only one to include cut out mini-diorama sets for the figures to stand on in the back of the packaging.

    Rescue Bots Academy

Perhaps the most unexpected products made by Jada are their additions to the Rescue Bots Academy toyline. First was a set released in 2019 composed of two remote controlled bumper cars, each piloted by a removable robot figure. Despite being branded as a Rescue Bots Academy product, the controllers feature a sticker with the old Rescue Bots logo and the figures themselves are based on the character designs from the original series rather than its sequel. 2022 then saw the release of a remote controlled car representing a robot mode Bumblebee (this time in his correct Academy design) driving a convertible version of his own vehicle mode.

    The Transformers

In 2022, Jada released its first Transformers product capable of transforming into a remote-controlled G1 Optimus Prime. The figure converts automatically on command and features lights and sounds.
