Road Rocket (G1)
From Transformers Wiki
The name or term "Road Rocket" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Road Rocket (disambiguation). |
- Road Rocket is an Autobot Action Master partner from the Generation 1 continuity family.
Road Rocket is the ideal partner for the overly-punctual, high-strung Powerflash. Racing along at speeds up to Mach 1, Road Rocket is always on-time when it comes to a chance to turn Decepticons into smoking slag with his battery of missiles.

- Powerflash with Road Rocket (Action Master, 1991)
- Accessories: light blaster
- Known designers: Andy Couzens (Hasbro), Takio Ejima (TakaraTomy), Masakatsu Saito (concept artist)
- Only available with the European-market-only Action Master Powerflash, Road Rocket is a small cybertronic six-wheeled missile tank with removable rockets (which are permanently affixed in pairs). Pressing a trigger on his rear section spring-launches the turret forward; while this is pointless by himself, when Road Rocket is plugged onto Powerflash's back, the turret flips over Powerflash's head to act as a battle helmet.
- The Action Master partner robots were given the "Targetmaster" classification retroactively by Dreamwave's More than Meets the Eye profile series. Powerflash and Road Rocket were not included in this series, so whether Road Rocket's alternate mode would have qualified is uncertain.
