Talk:Ask Vector Prime
From Transformers Wiki
There is also precedent for Transformers to be aware of fictionalized accounts of their adventures, and to comment on them. I'm thinking of the UK letter column. Should we expand the last bit to account for that? Chip 00:36, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
D'oh. How'd I manage to get all the way through this thing and not remember to put in a link? --Andrusi 01:01, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
Is the archive.org compilation more or less complete than Insecticomics'? Ask Vector Prime at Archive.org --Monzo 10:30, 6 July 2010 (EDT)
Just an idea here, but do you think it would be a good idea to put everything established via vector prime (characters, pieces of fiction, etc.) in a category of some sort?Transfan 1992 (talk) 19:24, 12 August 2015 (EDT)
- Probably unnecessary. If you really want to know, just go to the WHAT LINKS HERE page for Ask Vector Prime. --Giggidy (talk) 23:12, 12 August 2015 (EDT)
"Mentioned Characters" section
I'm thinking of adding a "Mentioned Characters" section to this page, as is the norm for our articles on Facebook-based "blog" type entries. The only reason I hesitate doing so is because, well, it would be enormous. I don't mind the amound of work I'd have to put in for it, I just want to make sure nobody would get opposed to the idea of the section's inclusion to the article before I do spend all that time making it. So, if anyone wants to argue against the inclusion of a "Mentioned Characters" section, now's your chance. Clarification: I'm planning to make a "Featured/Mentioned Characters" sub-section for each section on the page (Hasbro Website, AllSpark Almanacs, Facebook, Guest Columns...) --Ascendron (talk) 15:22, 22 October 2015 (EDT)
- I'm not sure. It feels like a bad fit somehow. --Giggidy (talk) 15:29, 22 October 2015 (EDT)
- Not really worth it. --Khajidha (talk) 15:33, 22 October 2015 (EDT)
- That it would be so enormous is one of the reasons why there isn't a "Featured Characters" section for the G1 cartoon article, so the same would probably go for here as well. --Sabrblade (talk) 15:34, 22 October 2015 (EDT)
- Glad I asked beforehand. --Ascendron (talk) 15:40, 22 October 2015 (EDT)
- Featured Characters: all. --Giggidy (talk) 15:50, 22 October 2015 (EDT)
- I like your idea, Ascendron, but as with others I think the list would be too long. Perhaps such a list should get its own page? Or maybe you can make list of strictly AVP-original characters or characters (like some GoBots) making proper debuts in Transformers fiction via AVP. S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47 (talk) 16:42, 22 October 2015 (EDT)
- I'd rather make it its own page than have a list that would be incomplete. Especially since the it would include the order in which the characters appeared in, which would just get confusing. If I go through with this, I'll create a sandbox of some sort first, and continue asking for feedback from the rest of the wiki. (And as Giggidy, points out, it would open a few options for some funny stuff. Like saying it'd probably be easier to name every character that hasn't appeared in the column, or something like that.) --Ascendron (talk) 17:51, 22 October 2015 (EDT)

Ask Vector Prime on Tumblr
On August 18 2020, Ask Vector Prime returned in the form of a Tumblr page. So what are you guys waiting for? This info must be here. As well as go there to ask questions for him to answer! --Cybertron Forever (talk) 13:39, 19 March 2021 (EDT)
- No. The Tumblr page is an unofficial fan blog made by some of the users on this wiki, so we don't cover it here. We've already noted as much on the Ask Vector Prime page. -- Cyberlink420 (talk) 13:46, 19 March 2021 (EDT)
- Oh dang, i thought he had returned to anwser our questions. Specially since i want ask him if Dylan Gould's assistant was killed by the Decepticons after the party because of her being a collaborator and if his body guards were indeed murdered by Bumblebee when he openend fire on his apartment at Trump Tower during the beginning of the battle of Chicago in Tyran 707.04 Delta. Guess i'll have to wait a little bit more until he "officially" comes back somehow. --Cybertron Forever (talk) 14:21, 19 March 2021 (EDT)
