Thrull was an irregularly-shaped planetoid, with a harsh, barren landscape most notable for its searing pools of high-energy plasma lava. It orbited the red giant star Hydran.

When Galvatron was hurled out of Unicron's body by Rodimus Prime, The Transformers: The Movie the Decepticon leader eventually splashed down in one of Thrull's plasma pools. Notes
- Dreamwave produced a poster of Galvatron emerging from his lava bath on which the planet was misspelled "Thrall".
- Either Hydran and Thrull are extremely close to Cybertron, or Rodimus Prime is able to hurl other Transformers faster than the speed of light. Maybe that's what Stan Bush meant by "You've got The Touch".
