Trans-Organic
From Transformers Wiki
This article is about the part organic part mechanical creations of the Quintessons. For the part organic part mechanical Transformers, see technorganic. |
The Trans-Organics were the first creation of the Quintessons, predating the Transformers themselves. Large by even Transformers standards, the beasts were deemed ill-fit for even the most simple of tasks. Too violent, uncontrollable, the beasts can be put to use for one thing and one thing only: destruction.
Most of the Trans-Organics were destroyed in the distant past but those that could not be destroyed were left in a Hibernation Chamber deep within Cybertron.

The Transformers cartoon
Seven Trans-Organics were unearthed by Galvatron and his forces in a Quintesson trap. They were a gorilla-like beast with green tendrils for arms (vaguely resembling the D&D demon prince Demogorgon), a largely metal white snake, an almost completely metallized bird, a brown anklyosauric creature, a half robotic bear, and a frog-like creature with a bear trap on its back and a camera for an eye.
The seventh was far larger still, the vampiric energy sucking worm known as the Dweller. The Dweller consumed the other Trans-Organics before moving on to the Transformers. The Dweller in the Depths
Legends comic
Grand Maximus explained that the Trans-Organics were the first creations of the Oracle/Vector Sigma in its quest to create the perfect combination of organic and robotic life. However, they only inherited the negative aspects of their progenitors—the heartlessness of machines and ferocity of beasts—and so the Oracle sealed them away. Bonus Edition Vol. EX

Transformers Legends
In order to get revenge on both the Autobots and the Decepticons, the Quintessons led Galvatron to where the Trans-Organics and the Dweller slumber deep inside Cybertron. After encountering the Dweller, Wreck-Gar pushed Ultra Magnus to safety, and was left to face off against the Trans-Organic horde by himself. The Transformers were eventually able to escape from the Quintessons' ancient creations. Dweller in the Depths
