The Battle Begins
  • Transformers Animated — The Battle Begins
This DVD was included with the Optimus Prime vs. Megatron deluxe toy twin-pack.
It includes the first part of "Transform and Roll Out", but features a longer title sequence that uses the full uncut version of the theme song and showcases the stock transformation footage of each of the main Autobot cast.
Also on the disc is a photo gallery of the first wave of Animated toys; Cybertron mode Optimus, Bumblebee, Lockdown and Prowl, as well as the Voyager class Megatron, Bulkhead and Starscream.
The French dub of this DVD features the same dubbing than the TV broadcast, with the exception of Pascal Casanova voicing the characters of Bruno Magne. The TV broadcast contained a version of the episode (and the whole series) with Magne and not Casanova.
