- TMBG's Other Thing debuts at live shows in September.
- On October 28, TMBG release their first children's book and accompanying EP, Bed, Bed, Bed.
- Gigantic is released on DVD on November 18.
- The recording sessions for The Spine begin in late 2003; only "Memo To Human Resources" and "Au Contraire" are recorded this year, and the rest of the songs are recorded in 2004.
