Pax Khazarica

Pax Khazarica (Türkçe: Hazar Barışı), Hazarların hâkimiyetleri altına almış oldukları milletlere karşı anlayışlı tavırlar ve dini müsamahalar göstermek suretiyle (kabaca M.S. 700-950 yıllarında) topraklarının geniş bir bölümünde güven ve asayişi sağladığı döneme verilen ad. Bu "mutedil" (ılımlı) siyaset anlamını beraberinde getiren ve yaratıcısı bilinmeyen bu terim, 19. yüzyıldan beri akademisyenler tarafından kullanılmaktadır.
