In the paper it was mentioned efficient skills of teachers for conducting their jobs more effectively. There are a number of skills that apply to each, regardless of which subject the teachers teach. These include preparing lesson plans, choosing the right textbooks and topics, checking assignments in timely manner, doing survey during classes and out of classes, evaluating student's knowledge. Proper implementation of these skills is very important for every teacher. At the same time, foreign language teachers must have other skills. If the teacher is not a native speaker, he should improve his speech and vocabulary. This is the main duty for foreign language teachers. In addition, they should be able to distinguish between cultures and their impact on speech. Modern technologies, especially computers, must be used properly and applied in teaching.

The paper is aimed to differentiate the alternatives of the twentieth century's approaches and to use a new method. Students can discover the language by themselves with the help of Silent Way method. Colored wooden sticks called Cuisenaire Rods help students to use their imaginations and illustrate new items. By using the rods they can assimilate the structure and enhance their speaking skills.

The paper aims to highlight aspects of military texts in the English language. While translating any text cognitive aspects of it plays a significant role for comprehension. To know military terms is necessary for military texts and for this reason military English is also considered as a Specialized Language. However, knowing military terms is not sufficient, it is necessary to be aware of the contextual meaning for comprehension of texts. The author concludes that discourse analysis of Military English is based on the aspects of pragmatics.

As the English language is the main communication in the world, many scholars try to find out new and easy ways for teaching it. Language teaching begins with the spoken language. Material is taught orally before it is presented in written form. Situational Language Teaching can be characterized as a type of British "structuralism". Underlying every language is a system of grammatical patterns and structures that had to be mastered in learning a language.

This article presents a cognitive approach to foreign language teaching. An information processing model is important for grammar lesson. Therefore, this model is used to design a grammar lesson that improves grammatical knowledge of target language and enhance its acquisition. This approach can be used in both traditional and communicative classrooms.
