Within this trend, patients going aboard for medical care is also one of the trends that has been becoming popular for the last decades. There are many obvious explanations to the popularity of this trend but the two main reasons are the significantly lower cost factor and the insurance factor. Despite its popularity, neither the U.S. government or the World Health Organization have any firm ground on medical tourism. There are empirical studies conducted by scholars and scientists that has shown empirical evidence on the intensification of clinical risks that is associated with the engagement of unlicensed and unaccredited clinical practices; clinical risks in this case included both surgical and post-surgical risks. This paper also offers some policy recommendations that helps to reduce these risks. Efforts must be made by all the parties to ensure that patients make informed decisions through the offerings of guidance and resources such as accreditations, enhanced oversight, and transnational effort. International medical insurance should be encouraged. Lastly, care coordination between local and international providers is crucial to ensure the successful transition of care.

However, the initiative was deemed a failure by many scholars after it was unable to achieve the abovementioned economic results such as in the case of Chile, Argentina, and Mexico. While most researchers agreed that the Consensus failed due to the creators’ lack of considerations toward market fundamentalisms such as saving rate and government interventions, others believe it was because of a series of the discovery of economic agents and matters. Nonetheless, what they are all agreed is that the Washington Consensus was not successful to achieve its intended purposes.

In theory, the FDI, trade, and economic growth are in alignment with the Cobb-Douglass production function which is an equation used to value a country’s GDP. Meanwhile, the studies discussed in this paper have proven that there is an empirical proof that FDI inflows and GDP growth are cointegrated in the case of Bangladesh while it is positively correlated in the case of Romania. However, what these studies have in common is the fact that both countries, Romania and Bangladesh are having a similar issue in relation to their management of FDI namely institutional problems, economic policies, and inappropriate absorption rate.

Indeed, this paper will look the way that poorly processed data affect a typical organization while showing a few real-life examples of chaos caused by them.
