It is interesting to observe how the action of the State, of real estate investors, and of neighboring owners affects the socio-territorial configuration of that sector of the city. Oriented by the qualitative methodological perspective, recourse was made to the recovery of secondary sources (specialized bibliography, press releases, management reports and regulations related to sector V of the trace). The main result is a process of "gentrification" in progress, leading to negative consequences on the right to the city of a certain sector of the population: the neighboring occupants. The present work reflects on the possibility that the effects of urban renewal and social displacement observed during the last thirty years allow building a more updated social map of Buenos Aires, taking as input the most recent socio-spatial processes.
Keywords: Public policies, Urban Space, Right to the City, Gentrification.

We intend to capture these interactions through the discourse of the experience of one of the two parties involved: the self-proclaimed "neighbors" of the City of Buenos Aires. The results that will be presented here were oriented by the qualitative methodological perspective for which the semi-structured interview tool was used as data collection technique, which included a question guide divided into five axes: how the interviewee goes down the city, their own characterization of the encounters with the ALS, their perceptions and assessments of the ALS and their uses of the public space, perceptions and assessments over the fact on living on the street, and their perception of the relationship of the ALS with the State, regarding social policy.
