Durante siglos, la búsqueda por un patrón de los números primos nos ha llevado a proponer y demos... more Durante siglos, la búsqueda por un patrón de los números primos nos ha llevado a proponer y demostrar diferentes métodos matemáticos, unos más sencillos que otros, a fin de dar con el patrón que determine el orden, hasta ahora incomprensible, de estos números.
Varios matemáticos han contribuido con diferentes aportes en lo que concierne a los números primos, de los cuales cabe destacar a Euclides, con su ''Teorema Fundamental de la Aritmética'', en donde ya se hace mención por primera vez a los números primos, al establecer que todo número natural se puede descomponer única y exclusivamente como el producto de números primos; a Eratóstenes, conocido por la ''Criba de Eratóstenes'', la cual es considerada como el primer método utilizado para hallar números primos; a Fermat, con el demonidado ''Pequeño Teorema de Fermat'', el cual daría las bases para el desarrollo de los tests de primalidad; a Euler, quien al haber formulado el producto que lleva su orden (Producto de Euler), aparentemente establece por fin un orden en la aparición de los números primos; y finalmente a Gauss, con el ''Teorema de los números primos''.
Todos los aportes de los matemáticos mencionados anteriormente, se analizan dentro del concepto de ''hallar'' y ''generar'' números primos, conceptos que son explicados a lo largo del trabajo.
