The COVID pandemic prepared us to be ready for new and transformative changes in the education system, be it online education, flipped classroom, blended learning, individualized learning, or computer-based adaptive testing. Against this background, the present cross-sectional study examines the use of ICT tools and expertise in using them by elementary school teachers. The sample consisted of 167 elementary school teachers selected randomly and rated their use and expertisein using various ICT tools. The study found that teachers were more proficient in using simple ICT tools and rarely or never used complex ICT tools. Variables such as teacher teaching experience, type of employment had no significant influence on usage and expertise. However, the use and expertise of using ICT tools among teachers working in urban schools is better than that of teachers working in rural schools. In addition, educational qualification was found to have a significant influence on the use and expertise of using ICT tools. Furthermore, there was a significant positive and moderate correlation between use of ICT tools and expertise in using ICT tools, suggesting that there may be many other influencing factors.

They help organizations to identify the requirements for designing, developing and implementing E-learning. These models not only help the organizations to identify the degree of ELR but also to identify the factors or areas where the organization is weak. The present study reviews the models of E-learning Readiness (ELR) with the help of a small-scale literature review on Models of ELR. The purpose of the current study was to make an analysis of the existing ELR models in the literature. The researcher visited various online databases to collect studies. In addition to that, the researcher also did a manual search in the reference list of various studies in the related field for the addition of additional studies. By following an appropriate strategy, the researchers selected 07 ELR models for the current study. The current study reveals that Technology, Skills, Attitude, resources and human resources, Infrastructure, Flexibility, Support, Pedagogy, Management, Evaluation, Continual Improvement, Culture, Budgeting, Curriculum, Awareness, Law and Regulation, Content and Policy have been used on a larger scale for the development of the ELR models. Further, majority of reviewed studies have used various statistical techniques like regression analysis, Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) for developing the models.

Happy person experiences mental or inner peace, more positive emotions like pleasure, joy, love, enjoyment, and less negative emotions like sorrow, anxiety, fear, and pain. The purpose of the present study is to explore the general concept of happiness and its importance. It also discusses different perspectives of happiness and presents the correlation between happiness and other important life domains. An attempt is also made to address one of the most important questions related to happiness i.e., "should happiness be researched".

In India, the pandemic had a major impact on higher education (HE) and it convinced educational institutions to adopt E-learning who earlier were not willing to adopt it. It made the system realize and accept new methods and approaches of teaching-learning like flipped classroom, blended approach of learning etc. The current study provides an overview of the role of Elearning by highlighting the various digital initiatives taken by Government of India especially during and after the pandemic.

It is considered the most in-demand technology in today's education system. It is expected that AI will enhance the education system worldwide. The educational institutions are nowadays facing various challenges like high dropout rates, unavailability of smart content, lack of customized content as per the textbooks, lack of personalized learning systems, rigid examination patterns etc. The use of AI brings hope to overcome these challenges. It helps to create personalized learning experiences, develop smart content, expand the range of education, and facilitate the management & administration of education by integrating information and disseminating data as per the needs of the target group. With AI, teachers/instructors can identify the learning styles and hard points of students and provide new avenues of teaching and support to students. The current study discusses about AI in various areas of education and its application in Indian education. AI has the potential for enabling students to achieve their goals and streamline the process of education. It can analyse the students' previous learning history, identify their weaknesses, and improve the upcoming learning opportunities for personalized learning experiences. AI can be used effectively for transcription of faculty lectures in local languages which can thus become a good educational resource to students of technical education. The AI tools and programs are inclusive which makes the classrooms accessible to all irrespective of language or any other disabilities.

Through a small-scale literature review, efforts were made to identify the key factors that determine the readiness of students towards E-learning. The researcher used technique of content analysis for reviewing the literature. The literature was collected from various databases like Google Scholar, Research Gate, Academia, ERIC and various publication house websites like Sage, Taylor and Francis, Wiley, and Emerald. The findings of the review of literature suggest that the factors and its components that determine the ELR among students are diversified. However, “Technological Readiness, attitudinal Readiness, Basic Internet Skills and Motivation” are the factors that have been largely used by the researchers to determine ELR of Students.

Spiritual intelligence (SI) is an intelligence that transforms emotions, thoughts, body and mind of an individual and helps in developing holistic approach to life. It not only helps to discriminate between good and bad but also helps to realize one’s potential and activates positive qualities. Thus, it is a powerful ability to solve problems related to personal, professional, academic, social and other aspects of life. Developing a holistic approach to life is one of the key goals of higher education and SI enables students and teachers to handle difficult situations and to live a happy life. Keeping this in mind, the objectives of the present study was to measure the level of SI of teachers and students, explore the influence of designation on SI and its dimension based on cross sectional survey design. Data was collected randomly through a self- developed SI rating scale from 1266 students and 330 teachers. The findings revealed that almost equal number of teachers and students fall in low, medium and high level of SI. Results also showed no association between the level of SI and designation of participants. It was also found that designation of participants had significant influence on some dimensions of SI. Age and level of education may be responsible for this influence and that can be explored in further research.

It is used for enhancing learning opportunities and facilitating student access and success in education. It offers a multimedia environment which supports interactive communication where the users have full control of their learning. The state of being ready for E-learning i,e. E-learning Readiness (ELR) is an essential condition which determines whether the students, faculty members and educational institutions can successfully embrace it or not. To determine the ELR, the research available on ELR claims that various factors like “Technological Readiness, Psychological Readiness, Content Readiness, Infrastructure Readiness” etc determine ELR. Before considering E-learning as a feasible option to deliver education in higher education (HE), it becomes vital to examine and measure these factors. Hence the main objective of the present study is to explore about the factors of E-learning and also to explore the indicators to measure these factors. The study concludes that the indicators in technological readiness should measure participants’ technological skills, their competence and knowledge on E-learning technology and they should measure the advanced technological skills of the participants rather than just their basic ICT skills. The indicators of psychological readiness should measure mental preparedness, views & opinions and attitude towards E-learning of both students and faculties. For Infrastructure readiness, the indicators in this dimension should rate the ICT infrastructure in the institution/organization. Moreover, the indicators in Pedagogical readiness should measure the knowledge of faculties to utilize various E-learning based teaching strategies.

The purpose of the review was to identify the key factors that determine the readiness of faculty members towards e-learning. The research questions are what are the most frequent factors used to study about e-learning readiness? What are the components studied under each readiness factor? The review gives an overview of factors that determine the e-learning readiness of faculty members, and it also covers the methodology, sample, tool, data analysis used in previous researches on e-learning readiness. The conclusion suggests that the factors and its components that determine the e-learning readiness of faculty members are very diversified. However, technological aspects, psychological aspects and pedagogical aspects together to a great extent determine the readiness of faculty members towards e-learning.
