Sandro Marengo
Associate Professor of Linguistics at the Department of Vernacular Literature and the academic and professional Postgraduate Programs in Literature at the Federal University of Sergipe (UFS) and the Postgraduate Program in Linguistic Studies at the State University of Feira de Santana (UEFS). He has a post-doctoral internship in Historical Terminology, Digital Humanities and Historical Linguistics (Universidad Complutense de Madrid-2022- and UFBA/CNPq-2018), a PhD in Linguistic Studies (UFMG), a Master's degree in Neo-Latin Letters (UFRJ/CNPq) and a Bachelor's degree in Literature (UFRJ/CNPq) and History (UFS). He is an effective member of the Marquês de Pombal Chair (UFS) and visiting professor at the Eugênio Tavares Chair of Portuguese Language (University of Cape Verde), both linked to the Camões Institute of Cooperation and Language (Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Portugal). He is a member of Special Studies Committee 239 (Translation, interpretation services and related technologies) of the Brazilian Association of Standards and Techniques (ABNT) and TC 37 (Language and terminology) of ISO (International Organization for Standardization). Coordinates the Digital Humanities and Terminological Documentation Laboratory (LADOC) at UFS. He has experience in the area of Linguistics with an emphasis on Lexicon Sciences and Digital Humanities, working mainly on the following topics: Development of digital terminographic instruments; Corpus linguistics and translation of synchronic and diachronic specialty speeches; Development of enabling technologies and quality of life based on (Socio)Terminology and Serious Games for Terminological and Textual Accessibility in the area of health and Law. He is currently the national coordinator of the Project "For the History of Brazilian Portuguese" (PHPB). He is also a member of national and international network research, such as the Brazilian Linguistic Atlas Project (ALiB), the Brazilian Health Literacy Network (REBRALS), the Rede Linguagem Simples Brasil and the Pombalia Project - Pombal Global (University of Lisbon) . He is an effective member of the Brazilian Linguistics Association (ABRALIN), the Plain Language Association International (PLAIN) and the Brazilian Computing Society (SBC).

Atualmente, é o coordenador nacional do Projeto "Para a História do Português Brasileiro" (PHPB). sincrônica e diacronicamente, a unidade terminológica militar "passo", a partir de edições paleográficas das fontes primárias coletadas na Fundação Biblioteca Nacional do Rio de Janeiro (CAMBRAIA, 2005), e verificar, a partir dos resultados obtidos, a articulação que se fez entre linguagem, história e comunidades de prática (CAMBRAIA, 2013; ECKERT, 2004; MATORÉ, 1973). Para a concretização do nosso intuito,
aplicamos o modelo de análise da socioterminologia variacionista (FAULSTICH, 2001, 2002) à análise das variantes, e identificamos, sistematizamos e buscamos as motivações dos fenômenos de variação e mudança (ECKERT, 2004; LABOV, 2008) extraídos dos nossos corpora. Nossa discussão foi de cunho qualitativo e quantitativo (BYBEE, 2002). Os resultados finais apontaram para um entendimento de variação e
mudança linguística das unidades terminológicas simples e complexas (DIK, 1981, 1983) do item lexical delimitado, que deve sempre relacionar o léxico em uso de uma dada língua à história social e cultural de suas comunidades de práticas. (MARENGO, 2016; MARENGO & CAMBRAIA, 2016)

como objetivos coletar, organizar e disponibilizar corpora diacrônicos. Nosso objetivo, neste texto, é apresentar as diretrizes que guiam a preparação de documentos escritos no Brasil, mais precisamente no Estado de Sergipe, no escopo do Projeto para a História do Português Brasileiro (PHPB).
