This study was aimed to determine the influence of spiritual well being to burnout. Participants were 43 students of Medical Education in Indonesian Islamic Univ ersity Yogyakarta. Burnout scale was modification of MBI-SS (Schaufelli et al, 2002) and Spiritual Wellbeing scale was modificaion of SWBQ (Fisher, 2010). Q uantitative Corelational method and regression analysis were used in this research. The result showed that three of hipotheses were accepted. There is the influence of th e four domains of spiritual well-being (personal, communal, environmental, and transcendental) to each dimensions of burnout(emo tional exhaustion, cynic ism, reduce academic efficacy). This research also found the do mai ns of spiritual well bei ng tha t was influen ced ea ch dim ension s o f b urnout mo stly was transendental domain. Spiritual aspect is important to prevent students from burnout.

Validitas bukan merupakan bagian dari instrumen pengukuran, namun lebih melekat pada interpretasi serta penggunaan skor yang dihasilkan tes pada subjek yang relevan. Dapat juga dikatakan bahwa validitas dibuktikan dengan diperolehnya kecocokan empirik antara interpretasi skor dan penggunaannya, serta terkait pula dengan dasar teoritik atribut tujuan ukur sebagai rasionalisasi. Pengukuran merupakan kegiatan yang lazim, bahkan rutin dilakukan dalam dunia psikologi dan pendidikan. Banyak penelitian yang menggunakan validitas aitem sebagai justifikasi valid tidaknya skor yang dihasilkan oleh alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian dalam bentuk korelasi aitem-total atau korelasi aitem-total terkoreksi (corrected item-total correlation). Namun persoalan validitas tidak sesederhana itu, namun proses validasinya dilakukan terhadap hasil ukur sehingga bisa membuktikan konstrak yang dikembangkan betul-betul berlaku pada subjek yang menjadi tujuan ukur. Proses pengujian validitas isi salah satunya dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan Content Validity Ratio (CVR) dan pengujian validitas konstrak dapat dianalisis dengan metode Explanatory Factor Analysis (EFA) dan Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). Namun hal yang lebih penting bukanlah proses pengujian validitas tetapi lebih kepada interpretasi skor hasil validitas. Validitas adalah ringkasan evaluatif baik dalam bentuk bukti atau konsekuensi interpretasi dan penggunaan skor hasil tes. Pada saat ini yang lebih diutamakan adalah interpretasi skor hasil tes berdasarkan hasil pengujian validitas.

This experiment examines the influence of interpersonal communication training in improving self efficacy as a trainer among college students. The hypothesis was that there is a significant difference in self efficacy of a trainer between the experimental and control group. There is also significant difference in self efficacy of a trainer among participants in experimental group between pre and post experiment. The participants of this experiment are college students with age ranging from 21 to 23 years old. The design of this experiment was Pretest Posttest with Control Group Design. A measure of self efficacy was developed by using aspect from Bandura (1997). The training module was developed on the basis ofHardjana Theory (2003). Data were analyzed using gain score method. The result shows that there is a difference in self efficacy of a trainer between experimental and control group (t= 16.989; p<0.01). This means that the interpersonal communication training show influences in increasing self efficacy of a trainer. An experiment group data analysis shows that there is a difference in self efficacy prior and after the training (t=-16.819; p<0.01). The result of this experiment confirmed the hypothesis.

Subjective well-being is happiness that individuals get from cognitive and affective evaluations of their lives. This research aimed to study the correlation between gratitude and Subjective Well Being. Participants were 51 teachers of Sewon Bantul Senior High School. Data was collected using the Subjective Well Being Scale and analyzed with Pearson Product Moment Correlation. The result showed that there was a positive correlation between gratitude and Subjective Well Being. Gratitude also contributed effectively on subjective well being.

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan terapi empati dalam menurunkan perilaku bullying pada anak usia sekolah dasar dan untuk menanggulangi permasalahan perilaku bullying sejak dari pendidikan dasar (Sekolah Dasar) dengan terapi empati. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah empat siswa berusia 10-12 tahun dan memiliki skor kecenderungan perilaku bullying dari sedang sampai tinggi. Desain yang digunakan adalah one group pre-test-post-test. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala kecenderungan perilaku bullying yang disusun oleh peneliti. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dengan menggunakan teknik Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test untuk menguji perbedaan skor data pre test dan post test. Hasil analisis menunjukan nilai p sebesar 0.001. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulka n bahwa terapi empati efektif untuk menurunkan perilaku bullying pada anak usia sekolah dasar. pKata kunci: terapi empati; perilaku bullying Abstract This study aims to determine the effectiveness of therapy in reducing bullying behavior empathy in primary school age children and to tackle issues of bullying behavior since basic education (elementary school) with empathy therapy. Subjects in this study were four students aged 10-12 years and had a propensity score bullying of moderate to high. The design was one group pre-test-post-test. Collecting data in this study was conducted using a scale of bullying behavior tendency with behavioral checklist model prepared by the researcher. Data analysis methods used by using techniques Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test to test for differences in the data score pre test, post test and post test2 (follow up). Results of the analysis score pre test-post test showed p value of 0.001 and post test2 (follow up) p value of 0.002. It can be concluded that the therapy empathy is effective in reducing the empathy bullying behavior in children of primary school age.

The aim of this research is to understand relationship between spiritual motivation and affective commitment on employee. The subjects of this research are employee PT "X" Sragen Jawa Tengah. Total subjects are 70 man and 16 women, 22-55 years old, Islam religion, and with minimum 3 years as tenure. Data collected with two scales consist of spiritual motivation scale and affective scale. Data was analyzed with correlation product moment. Results showed there is a positive correlation between spiritual motivation and affective commitment (r xy = 0,336; p<0,01). It High spiritual motivation will increase affective commitment. PENGANTAR Komitmen sangat penting bagi setiap individu untuk membangun kerjasama, memupuk semangat kerja, dan menciptakan loyalitas pada perusahaan. Steers dan Porter (1983) menyatakan bahwa komitmen yang tinggi terhadap perusahaan akan membawa dampak positif bagi perusahaan. Dengan komitmen yang tinggi maka karyawan akan lebih betah dalam bekerja, setia, ikut berpartisipasi penuh dalam pencapaian tujuan perusahaan. Mathieu & Zajac (1990) juga menyatakan bahwa komitmen yang tinggi akan membuat perusahaan lebih kompetitif karena para karyawan yang berkomitmen tinggi biasanya kreatif dan inovatif.

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan positif antara kepercayaan diri dengan employability. Hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini adalah ada hubungan positif antara kepercayaan diri dengan employability. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Psikologi Fakultas Psikologi dan Ilmu Sosial Budaya Universitas Islam Indonesia Yogyakarta yang sudah memasuki tingkat akhir yang berjumlah 60 subjek, terdiri dari 18 laki-laki dan 42 perempuan. Skala yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah skala kepercayaan diri dengan mengacu pada aspek-aspek yang dikemukakan oleh Lauster dan Guilford (Afiatin dan Martaniah, 1998) dan skala employability yang mengacu pada aspek-aspek yang dikemukakan oleh Pool dan Sewell (2007). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan ada hubungan positif antara kepercayaan diri dengan employability, yang ditunjukkan dari analisis korelasi product moment Pearson yaitu r = 0,659 (p <0,01), serta sumbangan efektif sebesar 43,4%. Hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini dinyatakan diterima.

SPM is intelligence test that has been formed set of pictures A, B,C,D. Subject must continue and complete that picture so that reflected his/her abstract reasoning. SPM is a general test, however IST is a special test but the two test produce IQ score.

This research examined the effect of spiritual character building toenhance optimism toward future among orphan child. The subjects of this experiment were 14 orphan children with age ranging from 12-17 years old. The design of this experiment was Pre-test-Post-test with Control Group Design.The result show that there is a difference in optimism toward future between experimental and control group (t= 1,000; p<0.01). This means that the spiritual character building training show influence in increasing optimism toward future. An experiment group data analysis show that there is a difference in optimism toward future prior and after the training (Z=-2,366; p<0.05), it is means that optimis toward future increasing after experiment. The result of this experiment confirmed the hypothesis. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 14 anak yang tinggal di panti asuhan berusia antara 12-17 tahun. Desain penelitian eksperimen ini menggunakan 2 kelompok penelitian, yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol dan dilakukan pengambilan data sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan optimisme terhadap masa depan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol (t= 1,000; p<0.01). Hal ini menunjukkan pembentukan karakater spiritual meningkatkan optimisme terhadap masa depan. Dari data kelompok eksperimen, diketahui adanya perbedaan optimisme terhadap masa depan sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan (Z=-2,366; p<0.05), artinya optimisme terhadap masa depan meningkat setelah diberikan perlakuan. The purpose of this research was to investigate the influence of social support and transformational leadership toward the three component model of organizational commitment (affective, continuance, and normative) with work motivation as a mediator. Subjects were 94 employees of a sugar factory in Indonesia with minimum 2 years as tenure. Four questionnaire used to obtain the data were organizational commitment questionnaire, social support questionnaire, transformational leadership questionnaire, and work motivation questionnaire. Data were analyzed using regression analysis and partial correlation. Results were: (1) affective and continuance commitments were significantly influenced by social support and transformational leadership with work motivation as mediator and (2) normative commitment was not significantly influenced by social support and transformational leadership.
