My thesis work was on US voter turnout and election administration laws and procedures. I aimed to examine what impacts, if any, a change to the availability of convenience voting methods (e.g. absentee voting, etc.) had on voter turnout across the states and over time.
My current research focuses on the political nature and impact of Beaumarchais and Mozart, specifically in the work "The Marriage of Figaro," both as a play and as an opera. I focus on the ideas of honor, identity, dignity, and rebellion as they relate to both of these artists both during their lives and after their work has been performed for centuries.edit
