Amanda was recently awarded an M.A degree in Geography, Environment and Society from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. Two manuscripts from her thesis, "Holocene paleofloods in the United States and their relevance to flood mitigation, risk assessment, and policy.", are currently in the publication process. Her latest contribution, "Paleofloods stage a comeback" was published by Nature Geosciences November 16, 2020.
