Natalia Vargas Escobar
Doctora en Sociología por el Colegio de México. Investigadora División de Estudios de Posgrado. Facultad de Economía, UNAM. Miembro del Sistema Nacional de Investigadores (Nivel I). Par Evaluador del Padrón Nacional de Posgrados de Calidad (PNPC) del CONACyT, consecutivamente durante los últimos tres ciclos anuales.
Su línea de investigación y producción académica parte del estudio de procesos fundacionales: la formación de Estado, la construcción de Nación y las modalidades/cursos del desarrollo económico en América Latina; para elaborar una Sociología Histórica de los esquemas de desigualdad e injusticia, y su estructuralidad -en tanto deriva de los procesos primordiales ya mencionados-, en la organización y distribución del poder colectivo en una sociedad.
Es profesora de Lógica de Investigación en Ciencias Sociales y Humanidades, en el Doctorado de Estudios Humanísticos del Tecnológico de Monterrey. Profesora de Corrientes Historiográficas del siglo XX, en la Maestría de Estudios Humanísticos del Tecnológico de Monterrey.
