José Millet Escritor y Etnólogo
José Millet graduated in 1975 in the race's degree in Language and Literature at the University of East (located in the city of Santiago de Cuba.) He studied philosophy at the University of Havana and taught at the University of East from 1969 until 1980. he served as researcher Auxilar in the Casa del Caribe, scientific research center which was one of its founders and where he worked as director of a team Interdisciplinary Studies from 1982 to 2005 . in 2005 I settled in Venezuela, where he worked until 2013 at the Institute of Culture of the State Falcon as founder and head of the Center of socio-cultural Research, responsible for preparing the Ethnographic Atlas of Falcon State, widely published in Internet. Author of more than twenty books, published in many countries, including two of them won the national award of socio-cultural research granted by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Cuba. He currently teaches students of Social Communication and Journalism career at the Bolivarian University of Venezuedla (UBV).
José Millet se graduó en 1975 en la carrera de Licenciado en Lengua y Literatura Hispánicas en la Universidad de Oriente (localizada en la ciudad de Santiago de Cuba.) Hizo estudios de Filosofia en la Universidad de La Habana e impartió clases en la Universidad de Oriente desde 1969 hasta el año de 1980. El se desempeñó como Investigador Auxilar en la Casa del Caribe, centro de investigaciones científicas del cual fue uno de sus fundadores y donde trabajó en calidad de director de un Equipo de Estudios Interdisciplinarios desde 1982 hasta el año 2005. En el año 2005 se estableció en Venezuela, donde trabajó hasta el año 2013 en el Instituto de Cultura del Estado Falcón como fundador y jefe del Centro de Investigaciones socio-culturales, encargado de la elaboración del Atlas Etnográfico del Estado Falcón, ampliamente publicado en internet. Autor de más de veinte libros, publicados en numerosos países, entre los cuales dos de ellos obtuvieron el premio nacional de investigaciones socio-culturales otorgado por el Ministerio de Cultura de la República de Cuba. Actualmente imparte clases a alumnos de Comunicación Social o carrera de Periodismo en la Universidad Bolivariana de Venezuedla (UBV).
