Throughout her short stories and novels, Clarice Lispector presents characters living and acting, as a whole, in a way that composes what Benedito Nunes identifies as a peculiar understanding of the world. The aim of this paper is to make a connection between this Lispector’s understanding of the world with some of Nietzsche’s philosophical concepts. Whereas, with concepts like free spirit, as well as the consciousness criticism, from which the philosopher suggests a reestablishment of the instinct, it is expressed in philosophy an impossibility that Lispector will perform in literature.

Writing from a point of view of an anarchist narrator who lives and faces the oppressive political system, her poetry adhere to the ideals that are kept even today by the anarchist groups, as, for example, the Revolutionary Struggle (Επαναστατικός Αγώνας). That political stance works with a narrative procedure that fictionalise the author and, consequently, it seems to have authorised a biographical criticism; nevertheless, this criticism reduces Gogou’s poetical creation. The aim of the present paper is to analyse that procedure from a point of view that optimise the narrative choice, once, in poetics, a fictionalised author may accept the risk of a biographical criticism and also pays for this transgression in the end, even if the procedure has amplified significantly the textual possibilities.

III e VI d.C.

The hypothesis is possible by stating that the Adventure Romance of Ordeal (Greek narratives) is not opposed to the Adventure Romance of Everyday Life (Roman narratives), as this opposition dissipates in front of the evidence that both traditions have serious and comical romances.
