O campo do conhecimento sobre a convivência em grupo e de suas relações com os outros grupos e com as instituições mais amplas foi denominado dinâmica dos grupos. Este artigo tem por objetivo explicitar elementos conceituais básicos em relação à dinâmica de grupos. Para tanto, objetivos, estrutura, necessidades interpessoais, tarefas e emoção na interação, papéis, entre outros elementos são destacados. A abordagem da dinâmica de grupos aplica-se as mais variadas estratégias de pesquisa e de intervenção em instituições. Presta-se ao serviço de transformação das relações humanas uma vez que põe em destaque o entrelaçamento de desejos pessoais e objetivos coletivos. ABSTRACT The human being is a social being and only exists due to the group relationships. The field of knowledge about living in a group and its relationships with other groups and with the wider institutions was called group dynamics. This article aims to make explicit basic conceptual elements in relation to group dynamics. Therefore, purpose, goals, structure, roles, interpersonal needs, tasks and emotion in interaction, and other elements are highlighted. The group dynamics approach is applied to the most varied strategies of research and intervention in institutions. It is useful for the service of transforming human relationships once it highlights the intertwining of personal desires and collective goals.
Leishmania (Leishmania) infantum chagasi is one of the agents that cause visceral leishmaniasis. ... more Leishmania (Leishmania) infantum chagasi is one of the agents that cause visceral leishmaniasis. This disease occurs more frequently in third world countries, such as Brazil. The treatment is arduous, and is dependent on just a few drugs like the antimonial derivatives and amphotericin B. Moreover, these drugs are not only expensive, but they can also cause severe side effects and require long-term treatment. Therefore, it is very important to find new compounds that are effective against leishmaniasis. In the present work we evaluated a new group of synthetic amides against the promastigote and amastigote forms of L. infantum chagasi. The results showed that one of these amides in particular, presented very effective activity against the promastigotes and amastigotes of L. infantum chagasi at low concentrations and it also presented low toxicity for mammal cells, which makes this synthetic amide a promising drug for combating leishmaniasis.
