Le corpus DTC réunit des textes historiographiques grecs d’époque byzantine. Ces textes ont été analysés semi-automatiquement (lemmatisation et catégorisation morphosyntaxique) avec les outils informatiques et les ressources linguistiques du projet GREgORI (UCLouvain, Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgique) spécialisé dans le traitement automatique du grec et des langues de l’Orient chrétien. Une seconde analyse a été menée en collaboration avec l’entreprise Calfa (Paris, France) spécialisée dans le traitement de l’arménien et la mise en oeuvre d’approches basées sur l’intelligence artificielle. Cette seconde analyse est réalisée par un réseau de neurones. Cette étude compare et évalue les résultats produits par les deux méthodes et propose une approche hybride pour le traitement automatique des langues concernées.

La trattatistica metrica greca minore è quella nata in margine o al fianco dell'ἐγχειρίδιον di Efestione di Alessandria, ma che di questo Manuale non è stata un commento testuale, ha anzi circolato in modo autonomo e ne ha persino selezionato gli argomenti. In Terra d'Otranto in epoca bizantina risultano di essa nove manoscritti: il Vat. gr. 14 (XII2 o XIIex.- XIIIin. sec.); il Vrat. Rehd. gr. 26 (XIII2 o XIIIex. sec.); il Vat. Chis. R IV 11 ed il Laur. Plut. 57.36 (XIII2 o XIIIex.-XIVin. sec.); il Paris. gr. 2558 (XVin. sec.); il Laur. Plut. 56.16 (XVm. sec.); l'Ambros. A 110 sup. e l'Ambros. E 26 sup. (XVex.- XVIin. sec.); il Paris. suppl. gr. 109 (XVIin.). Questi manoscritti attestano in Terra d'Otranto i seguenti testi: i tria capita. vaticana de re metrica; gli Anecdota chisiana de re metrica; i cento giambi De metro iambico di Botaniates; il Tractatus Urbinas de metris; l'Appendix Dionysiaca che è di certo la più attestata; il De diversis metris di Elia Carace; i Iambi de metro iambico di Michele Psello; capitoli od estratti la cui tradizione oggi è nota tramite l'Ambros. Q 5 sup., l'Ambros. A 110 sup., il Marc. gr. 483 o l'Ambros. C 222 inf.; capitoli di metrica o di prosodia estratti da Cherobosco o da Dionisio Trace; capitoli ad oggi noti dal De metris di Pseudo Efestione; alcuni brevi testi anonimi, ad oggi inediti oppure editi proprio dai manoscritti idruntini.

The minor Greek treatises on the metres have been composed in reference to or beside the ἐγχειρίδιον of Hephaestion of Alexandria, but they are not a commentary of this Handbook, because they have independently spread and selected topics even. Il liceo classico, una peculiarità del sistema scolastico del nostro Paese, non è mai stato così attuale per le giovani generazioni del terzo millennio. «Un classico – scriveva Italo Calvino – è un libro che non ha mai finito di dire quel che ha da dire»: gli antichi, quindi, ci parlano ancora, e le lingue classiche sono il veicolo per accedere direttamente ai loro testi. Questo volume dà, però, voce, per la prima volta, ai docenti italiani che ogni giorno lavorano proprio su queste lingue, in questo tipo di scuola con alunne e alunni, per dare uno spaccato del Liceo classico dal Nord al Sud dello Stivale, mostrando la propria passione, vitalità e – non bisogna sottovalutare questo aspetto nell’opera educativa dei giovani – la loro dedizione. Ne emerge un quadro stimolante e creativo, che può divenire anche utile strumento per i genitori per aiutare i figli nell’orientamento dopo la scuola secondaria di primo grado.
