Diane Langlumé
Diane Langlumé is an Associate Professor of English at the University of Paris VIII.
She is a "professeur agrégé" in English, and holds a Masters in Cinema as well as an M.A. in Italian studies from the University of Paris Nanterre. She is fully trilingual and publishes in three languages (French, English, Italian).
She is currently preparing a PhD on the Representations of Women and the Apocalypse in American TV Series.
She co-authored and translated the book The Catacombs of Paris (éditions Parigramme, 2011) and has published articles on American cinema, notably for CinémAction.
Trained at the renowned Centre de Formation des Journalistes (CFJ) in Paris, she worked as a photojournalist for ten years, publishing articles and pictures in the French and international press (Libération, The Independent, The Boston Globe, Cosas...) and was under assignment for Bloomberg News. She also trained as a war reporter.
