The Sacred Scripture of finity To understand the global meaning of Fabrizio Frasnedi's research, it is necessary to refer to the Christian horizon in which his multifaceted work is inscribed. For Frasnedi, literature is the continuation by other means of the event of the Incarnation. Its consistency is therefore 'iconic'. It is a 'Sacred Scripture' that has its pivotal point in the experience of t...

Radical empiricism reha- bilitates then the notion of "intellectual intuition", which coincides in the end, according to this per- spective, with the real constitution of every "actual entity" (the "organism").

Through a reconsideration of Henry's claim that Husserl's concept of intentionality entails an understanding of manifestation as exteriority and objectivity, I will suggest that phenomenology ultimately leads to an aporia, resulting from the fact that intentionality cannot found itself, but rather originates in a living-present which is in principle excluded from the phenomenological domain. Thus, in the second part of my text I will emphasize how Bergson, James, and Deleuze are in a position to overcome the phenomenological aporia by introducing a new account of appearence, no longer conceived of as the appearing of something to someone, but as a pure transcendental appearence further on from the distinction subject-object.

Deconstruction challenges the very possibility of philosophy. This is why the debate of deconstruction with philosophy “cannot resemble anyone else”. It does not take place in philosophy, because it compares the whole of philosophy with an “elsewhere of philosophy”, which is not even its opposite. The opposites have, as a matter of fact, a common genus, while between philosophy and deconstruction there is only homonymy. Deconstruction is born by criticizing Husserl’s phenomenology. Questioning the foundation of phenomenology (presence and intuition) will mean, for Derrida, settling the coup de grace to the philosophy as a whole. In our essay we will show how the critique of phenomenology rests in reality on a fallacious equation, retention = non-perception. Only on the basis of such an assumption it will be possib...

Here Lacan introduces the expression Das Ding in place of the original word, “sin”. We have to think very well about this replacement done by Lacan, and its meaning for the “ethics of psychoanalysis”
