Technologies help to clarification and structure life in many ways to meet the need of the children oriented requirements. The children suffering from disabilities (e.g. autism) has desperate needs for elucidation and structures their life. MumIES is a research based system facilitates to support and manage their living. This paper works on MumIES system to evaluate usability of the system in extraordinary environment for extraordinary people. The paper shows from the survey observation users need supporting tools to access the children’s potential and challenges and to give the full support to overcome disabilities. Usability evaluation has been considered one of the key challenges to MumIES system. The paper represents analysis, design of usability studies for the extraordinary user in environment.

The purpose of this paper is to describe the development of mobile application for shopping mall using Android platform. A prototype was developed for the shoppers of Bashundhara Shopping Mall of Bangladesh. This prototype will serve as a framework for any such applications(apps). The paper presents a practical demonstration of how to integrate shops’ information, such as names, categories, locations, descriptions, floor layout and so forth, with map module via an android application. A summary of survey results of the related literature and projects have also been included. Critical Evaluation of the prototype along with future research and development plan has been revealed. The paper will serve as a guideline for the researchers and developers to introduce and develop similar apps.

Children can easily acclimate with the modern computing devices and learn lessons from multimodal items of the Internet resources (texts, audios, videos, and images). This prototype mainly helps children by providing them friendly and usable user interface design and effortless input (children's stories) system for the generation of learning materials. Output contains multimodal resources with some exceptional facilities like audio/ video playlist, text reader that attract children for learning purposes and so forth. This research is mainly based on the special needs children's interaction with smart devices. The prototype facilitate learning with easy interaction and the multimodal approach helps children understanding their lessons more effectively. The significance of this research is that it holds a great promise to introduce a novel dimension in HCI (Human Computer Interaction) research by introducing the usage of multimodal approaches for learning materials generation for the children with special needs.

Like other routing algorithms, EIGRP uses its own Cost Matrix Calculation Formula to determine the best path to a destination. This formula consists of some constant values (“K”Values) upon which the path selection depends a lot. Although EIGRP is being used widely with efficient performance, it has been found that there are some ambiguities with its cost matrix. This paper is going to present a brief introduction to the background information of routing algorithms and explore the EIGRP cost matrix to find out those ambiguities lying behind it“K”Values.

The project comprises three major phases: requirement analysis, application development and testing and evaluation. To satisfy the user requirement analysis, a detailed ethnographic study was conducted to investigate how people from different background use mobile devices for learning purposes. The initial analysis and evaluation of the first version of the projected app demonstrates very promising results. Making use of the app seemed to have, in general, a positive dimension in facilitating educational use of mobile devices.

It is essential that the web be accessible to people with equal access and equal opportunity to all also with disabilities. An accessible web can also help elderly population and also people with disabilities more actively contribute in society. This paper concentrates on mainly two things; firstly, it briefly examines accessibility guidelines, evaluation methods and analysis tools. Secondly, it analyzes and evaluates the web accessibility of e-Government websites of Bangladesh according to the 'W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines'. We also present a recommendation for improvement of e-Government websites' accessibility in Bangladesh.

A history of studies over the past 30 years reported in this paper suggests that Gesture Controlled User Interfaces (GCUI) now provide realistic and affordable opportunities, which may be appropriate for older and disabled people. We have developed a GCUI prototype applica-tion, called Open Gesture, to help users carry out everyday activities such as making phone calls, controlling their tele-vision and performing mathematical calculations. Open Gesture uses simple hand gestures to perform a diverse range of tasks via a television interface. This paper describes Open Gesture and reports its usability evaluation. We conclude that this inclusive technology offers some potential to improve the independence and quality of life of older and dis-abled users along with general users, although there remain significant challenges to be overcome.

Our findings conclude that GCUI is now affords realistic opportunities for specific application areas, especially for users who are uncomfortable with more commonly used input devices. It has been tried to get chronographic research information for over 30 years. Different types of gestures, its users, applications, technology and issues addressed, results and interfaces have been investigated from existing research. Finding the next direction of gesture controlled user interfaces is the main focus. Rich user interface using gestures is a natural demand for ubiquitous devices. This paper gives a research background towards gesture controlled research for inclusive design
