In addition to this, we investigated gender differences as well as the correlation between self-perception and academic achievement. The research sample comprised 62 participant, 31 gifted and 31 non-gifted children aged 10 to 15. A matched participant design was used and the controlling variables were: academic achievement in the current and previous grades, gender and a socio-economic status. The issue of academic stress is an issue that increasingly brings together researchers, intending to prevent the mental health of students. The study aims to validate the academic stress scale by Bedewy D. and Gabriel A. (2015) on a sample of high school students. The study involved 200 high school students of various vocations (102 female and 82 male), all between 15 and 18 years of age. As an instrument, the PAS scale was used, which included prior translation and back translation to BHS languages. PAS scale consists out of 18 items. Item analysis showed that 12 items have satisfactory discriminant validity and reliability indexes. Items 1,2,3,4,5 and 8 were marked as suspected, and after the procedure of factorial analysis, it is confirmed that they should be excluded because they did not fit the model. Also, the study aimed to explore whether the personality traits of parents (mother and father) are significant predictors of the personality traits of their preschool children. The sample consisted out of 150 children of preschool age and 150 fathers and 150 mothers. The personality characteristics of the children were assessed by their parents by completing the M5-PS-90 (Grist & McCord 2006), and afterward, parents assessed their personality traits through the Scale PMF (Kardum & Smojver 1993). Rezultati ranijih istraživanja pokazali su povezanost vjeronaučne nastave sa oblikovanjem i očuva... more Rezultati ranijih istraživanja pokazali su povezanost vjeronaučne nastave sa oblikovanjem i očuvanjem vjerskog identiteta njenih polaznika. Cilj ovog istraživanja bio je da se ustanovi da li je Islamska vjeronauka u funkciji oblikovanja i očuvanja vjerskog identiteta onih koji je pohađaju. Varijabla vjerski identitet operacionalno je definirana kao zrelost religioznosti. Po svojoj naravi istraživanje je korelacijsko kvazieksperimentalno. Od istraživačkih instrumenata korišteni su Upitnik socio-demografskih varijabli i Upitnik zrelosti religioznosti. (Ćubela Adorić, 2004) Istraživanje je provedeno online putem Google forme koja je distribuirana preko osnovnih, srednjih škola i fakulteta do ispitanika. U istraživanju je učestvovalo 996 ispitanika. Rezultati interkorelacijske analize u ovom istraživanju pokazali su kako duže pohađanje Islamske vjeornauke jača zrelost religioznosti, što potvrđuje da je Islamska vjeornauka značajan faktor u funkciji oblikovanja i očuvanja vlastitog vjerskog identiteta. Ispitanici u izrazitoj mjeri smatraju da su znanja koja su stekli iz predmeta Islamska vjeronauka funkcionalna, odnosno da su to znanja koja im daju odgovor na pitanja koja ih okružuju, da djeluju na njihove stavove, odgovaraju na njihove potrebe i daju im odgovor kako da se ponašaju u svakodnevnom životu. It is quite logical to assume that students, who procrastinate, have a higher degree of anxiety. The aim of this study was to examine whether procrastination and anxiety were related variables, as well as to determine whether there were differences in the intensity of these two variables between students of private and state universities, to examine whether there were differences between male and female students, and whether the success of the study and procrastination and anxiety were related. Therefore, the goal of this paper was to develop and then empirically validate the Scale for the Assessment of Educators’ Social Communicative Competences. The first version of the instrument consisted of the following subscales: Nonviolent Communication, Self-Awareness, Awareness of Others, Self-Management-Emotion Regulation, Self-Esteem, Nonviolent Conflict Resolution. The initial version of the scale contained 70 items. The instrument was applied to a sample of 243 respondents, educators from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina, and psychometric validation was carried out, which included an item analysis, a factor analysis to check the validity and reliability of the measuring instrument. What has remained undefined up to now is whether perfectionism is determined by inborn or environmental factors. The aim of this paper is to ascertain whether perfectionism is determined by various parenting styles and to what extent. The sample was composed of 110 participants, final grade elementary school students. We used the following instruments: the SD survey, the Burn’s Scale of Perfectionism and the Parenting Style Inventory II (PSI- II). Rukopis sadrži relevantne teme iz ove oblasti, jezički je prilagodljiv, nepretenciozan, predstavlja dobar primjer povezivanja naučnih saznanja i metodologije podsticanja razvoja djece određene hronološke dobi.
