Questionnaire was designed and distributed among employees in one multinational oil company operating in southern Iraq (LUKOIL) in Basra. The sample of the study consists 208 employees and they were selected randomly. AMOS 22 was used to analysis the data. The findings indicted that there is a direct positive effect of the reverse logistics on sustainable manufacturing. Several conclusions have been reached, along with implications and suggested future directions for research. Having a sustainable strategy gives the company flexibility in meeting the needs of future generations through innovation and relocation. Cooperation in the implementation of reverse logistics to maintain a good image and reputation in the minds of customers about the company and is a key part of the corporate social responsibility.

And it applied and tested in this studythe public health sector in the province of Basra, where the study included a number of governmenthospitals. This framework was tested in the governmental health sector in Basrah which including number of hospitals. The questionnaire was used as data collection method for this study and the sample size was amounted to 285. The Path Analysis software(AMOS V20) was used to test the hypotheses of the study. The results showed that the negative effect of both locus of control and relationship quality on counterproductive work behavior , as well as demonstrated the indirect negative effect locus of control and relationship quality on counterproductive work behavior through the mediating variable trust in the leader and psychological empowerment.

Background Although earlier studies have discussed the critical success factors of the failure or success of an ERP system and the extent to which it achieves its desired objectives, the current study focused on the significant impact of socio-technical elements and decision-making environment on the success of the ERP system (i.e., sustainable performance). In addition, the lack of research on ERP as a mediator in the above relationship motivated this study to bridge the literature gap. Methodology The data was collected using questionnaires distributed to 233 randomly selected employees of three multinational companies (BP, LUKOIL, and Eni) operating in Iraq. The structural equation modeling was employed to test the hypothesized relationships. Contribution The study contributes to the literature by examining the mediating role of the ERP system in the relationship between socio-technical elements and the decision-making environment, as well as, the moderating role of organizational culture in the relationship between socio-technical elements and ERP systems. Findings The results showed that ERP is a significant mediator between the linkage of socio-technical elements and the decision-making environment while organizational culture has an insignificant moderating role in the relationship between socio-technical elements and ERP systems. Recommendations for Practitioners In a developing country like Iraq, there is a need to implement ERP to achieve better sustainable performance through change management and organizational development that ultimately work towards enhancing individual capabilities, knowledge, and training. Recommendations for Researchers The researchers are recommended to conduct an in-depth study of the phenomenon based on theoretical and empirical grounds, particularly in light of the relationship of socio-technical elements and decision-making environments. Impact on Society This study provides a reference for organizations with similar cultural backgrounds in using ERP systems to minimize pollution in Iraqi context. Future Research A more in-depth study can be performed using a bigger sample, which not only includes the oil industry but also the other industries. Keywords organizational culture; socio-technical approach; decision-making environment; ERP system; sustainable performance.

The study also highlighted the potential of the organization to adapt to environmental conditions, while maintaining successful projects according to established standards. The study developed a theoretical framework, within which the hypothetical structure was built on involving the five study variables. The framework was then tested and used in electrical power sector projects in Iraq, particularly in Basra. The study distributed 201 questionnaires to employees in the electricity power sector to obtain the required data, after which data were exposed to AMOS (version 20) software applying path analysis to examine the proposed hypotheses. Based on the results obtained, a negative direct effect was found from narcissistic CEO to successful project as proposed. Such a characteristic was expected to prevent successful projects, as narcissistic CEOs have a higher tendency to impose their opinions on the employees, while monopolizing the decision-making process. Aside from this, organizational risks were found to partially mediate the influence of the successful project in that the decisions made by the narcissistic managers tended to be more dangerous in crisis periods and, as such, such managers were major causes in the failed projects. However, the findings of the study have some limitations, such as the focus on one sector (power projects). The conceptual framework also excluded other variables that could contribute to project success, such as risk management technology.
