Her double status as a novelist and philosopher constitutes a privileged point of view for this type of reflection in which both philosophy and literature, as well as ethics and aesthetics, go hand in hand.

It is very difficult to categorize philosophically Iris Murdoch and to place her in a concrete philosophy current, since she was constantly evolving throughout her life and also her essays are complex and ambivalent (some say they are even contradictory, but I don't think so). Surely you have to delve into it to see the consistency in the background, and all the nuances in the direct expression of it. I will first try to make a brief characterization of her life and work, and then I will focus on her reflections on contemporary philosophy: the relationship (of similarities and differences) between analytical philosophy, phenomenology, existentialism and Marxism.

This need is increased in times of great economic crises and financial scandals, such as those we have experienced recently. In addition, the Information and Communication Society, due to its particular characteristics on a global scale, presents a series of important challenges and opportunities for the future. In this communication we will try to analyze the main challenges facing business ethics in the future and the opportunities it presents to achieve an efficient performance of the functions of the company and an adequate approach to the so-called “corporate responsibility”.

Papers by Ernesto Baltar
In this article we analyze the relationship between philosophy, literature, and art in the work of Iris Murdoch, paying special attention to the role that philosophy plays in her narrative work, the differences and similarities between literature and philosophy according to her own theoretical approaches, as well as her aesthetic reflections on the essence of literature and art in connection with the idea of Good, central to her Platonic vision of ethics and reality. Her double status as a novelist and philosopher constitutes a privileged point of view for this type of reflection in which both philosophy and literature, as well as ethics and aesthetics, go hand in hand.
