Hotel Sogo

Hotel Sogo (Japanese:ホテル ソウゴ, ホテル ソゴウ) is a hotel chain in the Philippines operating in different major cities and provinces in the country. Currently, the hotel group has 34 hotels over Metro Manila and 8 in other provinces. The hotel generally display a lodging with a theme of Japanese descent in a two-star accommodation.

History

Hotel Sogo was originated by two capitalist-proficient men in 1992. The individuals are pro-hotel businessman who had practised in motel chains as a supervisor in over 20 years, and a commercial developer and licensed contractor in the Asia Pacific.

The group started building hotels with the goal to take on cleanliness, innovation, efficiency, courtesy, discipline, teamwork and quality service. The company then used the name "Sogo", meaning “Harmony”, and followed the theme of Japanese ethnicity that is now geared in company’s’ envisage.
