Fantasilandia

Fantasilandia is a Chilean amusement park. The park opened in 1978 and is located in a corner of the O'Higgins Park in Santiago, Chile, Not to be confused with the theme park Phantasialand in Brühl, North Western Germany.

On January 28, 1978 the park opened for first time with only 8 attractions, including the "Galaxy" coaster, "Mansion Siniestra", "Ford T" and "Century 2000", among others. Over the years the park has replaced many of its classic rides with modern rides like "Top Spin", "Xtreme Fall", and "Boomerang".

In late 2007, Fantasilandia opened a new ride to replace the old ride "Splash". Called "Tsunami" (Shoot the Chute) it was built in Chile under licence of Intamin A.G of Switzerland. With this milestone the park celebrated its 30-year anniversary. The ride "Villa Magica" also opened in the Kids Zone, located next to "Cine Magic 3D" and fast food locations. In 2008 Fantasilandia opened the second Vekoma SLC in Southamerica. It is called "Raptor" and cost around US$10,000,000. In 2009 three new rides opened in the Kids Zone area. These were "Rockin' Tug", "Toing & Boing" and "Buggy Jump", all of them made in Italy by Zamperla. In late 2010 the Wave Swinger (a flying chairs ride) made by Zierer was opened and is called "Volare" A German built Condor ride was introduced in late 2011. It is called Ikarus. In December, 2012, Fantasilandia added an Air Race ride, built by Zamperla Rides, celebrating 35 years of the opening of the park A year later, the S.D.C Galaxy rollercoaster was closed due to an accident and the "Fun Karting" ride was removed. Also a restaurant with kiddie theme was added in front of the Air Race, and the construction for the new Mack Rides Twist 'n' Splash ride begun (which opened the 21st of December of that year) In December 2014, Fantasilandia started opening the "Moby Dick" ride, manufactured by Wisdom Rides, which opened officially to public in January 2015

Raptor (rocket engine)

Raptor is the first member of a family of cryogenicmethane-fueled rocket engines under development by SpaceX. It is specifically intended to power high performance lower and upper stages for SpaceX super-heavy launch vehicles. The engine will be powered by liquid methane and liquid oxygen (LOX), rather than the RP-1 kerosene and LOX used in all previous Falcon 9 rockets, which use Merlin 1C & D engines. Earlier concepts for Raptor would have used liquid hydrogen (LH₂) fuel rather than methane.

The Raptor engine will have several times the thrust of the Merlin 1D vacuum engine that powers the second stage of the current Falcon 9, the Falcon 9 full thrust.

The broader Raptor concept "is a highly reusable methane staged-combustion engine that will power the next generation of SpaceX launch vehicles designed for the exploration and colonization of Mars." According to Elon Musk, this design will be able to achieve full reusability (all rocket stages), and as a result, "a two order of magnitude reduction in the cost of spaceflight".

Joni Anwar

Joni Anwar, also known as Joni Raptor (born August 30, 1981) is a Thai pop singer and actor. He was born in Bangkok, Thailand and has Indonesian-Scottish ancestry. He graduated from Bangkok Patana School in 2000.

Career

Anwar started his career by doing television commercials for Ovaltine, Bata, Krissadanakorn and others before he signed a record deal with RS Promotion.

In 1994, Anwar began his musical career in the rap duo Raptor, with Louis Scott. After the group disbanded in 1998, Joni participated in his younger brother's self-titled debut album, Anan Anwar. Not long after that, Joni began a solo career and released three albums: Bad Boy, Freeman, and Outtaspace.

Raptor

Joni and Louis Scott were 12 and 13 years old when as Raptor they released their self-titled debut album in August 1994. They were the youngest singers in Thailand at that time. Their clothes were the height of youth fashion at the time and inspired teen fashion in Thailand. They also roller-bladed and skate-boarded and some teens copied them in this respect.
